Also, getting on a bus full of screaming idiots after a long boring day and realising material world is on radio 4. Bliss.
To be honnest i was going to say gaming but meh .. I also love to go downtown (Montreal) and just look around. Sounds lame I know but it's such a special environment I used to work night shifts during the summer at the 1000 de la Gauchetière. At 5h30 AM once i got out of work I would go outside and sit somewhere just to watch the twilight and the city wake up. The fact that at this time of the day (night?) the city is so quiet makes it pretty special I also sometimes watch the sky and I am amazed at how crazy the texture resolution is.. or how real life's anti aliasing is effective
walking along on a cold day all wrapped up with my head phones in. taking my shoes off and sitting down after a long day Finishing an essay Waking up next to my boyfriend a good bar of chocolate.
I have a distinct love of the cold when im warm and cosy in a coat and hat and my headphones on.. and ghys if you woke up next to my boyfriend i dont think id be too amused either
I love cold. My room must be at around 16°C right now (about 60°F for you guys) and that's just what I like. Whenever it's warm or humid (which is, for the latter, about 90% of the time over here(thank you Great Lakes and Atlantic Ocean)) my skin starts acting up and I don't feel good for various reasons I don't know if you're a man or a woman ,which would make things completely different for your boyfriend if I were to be next to him when we wake up, but either way, I'd rather be far away if you don't mind
Hes not... Watching my cats sleep, I dont think theres anything quite as care-free as a sleeping cat. Waking up, realising its saturday and going back to sleep. Watching waves break against a cliff. Moriquendi
Uh sounds proper strange but... one road connects my village with the nearest town (it's only about half a mile, uphill to get home) it was rough as but two years ago the council tarmaced it smooth as silk. Riding my Bmx home it's just steep enough you can crank it hard and then coast for awhile listening to the tyres buzz as you slow down, never having to pedaling so long/hard I get tired, never just rolling (no effort no reward)... at night on the way back from bustling town to peaceful village just me, my bike and the sound that whole experience just sits right with me....
Can't really say that I have a proper 'simple pleasure', but I'll go with getting a massage. Great feeling.
I know the feeling. When I have some sort of vacation that lasts 4days+ i tend to stay up until 5-6 in the morning. The night/early morning are pretty nice. Especially in summer when you can watch the sunrise. Everything outside is just so quiet. Walking trough the city a summer morning is pretty nice here as well. It's pretty quiet (town seems almost empty during the summer vacation), the sun is shining, and the air is relatively clean since many of the sidewalks are getting washed in the morning.
coming up with a quick tune on my guitar I enjoy quite alot that or I like sittin in a comfy chair drinking coffee watching the world go by.
