Just to note, Have used Cleevely a couple of times now on our Model 3 and can't fault the service received. Unless you live near their HQ they will come to you based on the appointment time agreed. The only thing they ask for generally is room to work on the car - driveway or garage preferable. If you have a home charger they may ask to plug in their car (or you can offer - I did and the chap declined).

In my case I have a "major" service on the 3 and a follow up visit for some rear suspension work. Got them lined up again in August for a minor service.

I'd love to, but my works laptop will never drive it over 60hz.
It's a works monitor and I had an exact copy as spare under my desk so not life ruining.

 

Been dealing with horrendous calf pain for nearly 2 weeks now, went docs for some pain relief whilst I wait for some physio support, next thing I know she's on the phone booking me into hospital for immediate bloods to check for DVT.
Gladly all ok so now just to deal with the leg but this body is fighting me more and more these days. At 44 this is not what I want just as I have some of my sh!t together

 

this is when you realise that when you see older folks walking around slowly, it isn't just a slowing down, but more likely a pain thing... I am 49 and noticing this more and more, especially with hips and back.

 

Will someone explain to me exactly how the eff it is August already?

and the tesla goes in yet again for another repair. They botched the Window repair. So a new window switch has now damaged the following.

Door Card - Broke the plastic clips that hold the window switch in (Press slightly and it pops down)
Speaker tweeter thing broken - Dented the speaker mesh, broke clips around the edge so it no longer stays on
Windows calibration - made an arse of this and now its loose, windows moved and hitting the door piller.

They didnt even replace the window with a tesla window its a tapou compatible branded one.

Claimed they got a "specialist in" to do it. Must have been trained by Stevie wonder. Ma cars going to end up unusable because they cant bloody fix it properly. Whole process is a pure joke, if they had just paid the £200 in the first place for me to take it to tesla they wouldnt be out nealy a grand in buggering it up with their incapable staff.

Im actually raging, because at this point there isnt much i can do, i spoke to my credit company who said legally they are allowed time to put it right, and the only thing i can really do is document it currently, they have legally broken some one fix rule but they are claming the broken window etc are new items, but trying to explain to them that i read the consumer rights and it stated "reasonable care and skill" which hasnt happened as they have not only damaged my car once but twice now whilst "repairing it", ive asked to make a complaint about it.

Reading the thing it looks like i can still refuse the car, unsure how that works with finance and they dont want to explain that to me, wondering how working out what deductions would be on it, since ive had it 2 and a half months and done about 2k miles on it, and scuffed 2 of the rims

 

Setting up new work laptop, usually a a good thing but a may have somehow been granted local admin access on my old one which I used to tidy up a few bits like useless desktop icons or install xml plugins to notepad++
Barely used but it was handy when I needed a quality of life update, yet my local IT know what I can do and I am practically IT but only for the HR sector.

 

I've been hitting fast forwards repeatedly so I can start my new job, sorry! xD

 

Friendly car mechanic says I seem to have gotten somewhat lucky with the deer strike in that there's no evidence of anything other than superficial damage (though can't say for certain until he gets in there).

Ordered the two definitely broken front grill replacements (though cheaped out on the main front grill as I got the basic model rather than the anti-killy pedestrian one), and the friendly mechanic is willing to see if the front bumper is still able to function before I buy a new one. It has a crack in it, but the overall shape of it seems fine. If it was easy to find one in the same (or near-same) colour that wasn't already a little damaged, I'd replace it. He's sourcing a new headlight for me - glass is destroyed on the one that took the impact but it's still functional.

Sounds odd, but I'm annoyed as I genuinely love my car and feel like I've really let her down. Problem is that my daily commute is well known for people ploughing into deer and other wildlife (it's a rare day there isn't a dead deer on the side of the road), and on average, I'm actually doing pretty good for only two hits in about 5 years (had PLENTY of close calls), especially as I start off early in the morning when the little bar stewards love to run around.

Mate, if bull bars weren't illegal*, I'd have got one ages ago.

*Looked it up and they're actually not illegal, just a pain in the arse to justify legally unless you're in a serious farm type vehicle, and on a normal car, the pedestrian safety requirements basically make it worthless having one to counter deer anyway. Don't see why I have to comply to pedestrian safety standards - it's their fault for being in front of me when they're not supposed to be.
