Full fibre 500 was actually damn solid

Tbh I think it was a phone donkey trying to bag commission for snatching a virgin customer and BSing about having to yeet virgin from this house. Oddly I've been able to have TT, no difference copper vs fibre, alongside virgin in all the places I've lived in England until now

Laid up with man flu. Felt ropey on Sunday night, streaming cold, aches and congestion on and off.
Went to work Monday and yesterday, but worse today with a cough added.
Will have a go at WFH paperwork, but not firing on all cylinders TBH.
One updide, our antisocial cat has unusually been on the bed the last 2 nights. Seems to be in nurse mode.

Same here. The youngest brought something back from school and it's hit me like a tonne of tonne. Was off work for two days, and still feel extremely not with it but the to-do list is threatening to overflow so I'm back at it anyway.

Good luck GH, it is rough being self employed.
I'm technically an employee, but I'm the only one on the payroll...so sort of self employed
There's things I have managed to do online after a dose of paracetamol, but going on site isn't going to happen today. I feel irrationally cold indoors and got really cold working outdoors on Monday.

We're starting to tentatively look at houses—not because we're 100% ready, but to get an idea of what's available within our budget and where we might need to compromise. The problem is, by the time I've found one listing on Rightmove, my partner has already decided which side of the sink her toothbrush will go on and called every member of her family to share the pictures.

The reality is that we need more time to strengthen our finances. While she understands this, her excitement gets the better of her to the point where I don't think we can even logically window shop anymore.

I'm now looking like the bad guy putting on the breaks but the cold hard reality is we're not in the right place financially and we won't be for at least 6 more months.

Thinking about selling my Sony A6400 to release some funds... I'd rather not, but the more we look at this house the more it looks like it could be a fit for us. Should yield £900 with lens but that would be selling outside of Fleabay so its unlikely to be a quick seller.

We're just a bit short and that would quickly fill the void over waiting a further month. Would just mean getting another when we're settled if that's what it takes.

Have you tried a proper camera shop like London Camera Exchange, Wilkinson or Park Cameras?
LCE bought my camera gear when I got out of the photography habit.

I haven't tried those but I did try MPB and they offered £515 for the pair. :(

I'd probably rather put it on eBay at that price to be fair. I'll give LCE and the others a go and see if its any better :)

I agree with IanW, there should be an LCE nearby who would be worth talking to.
Not used them, but MPB are big online with buying and selling camera kit too.

    **EDIT**
Ninjad by DP on that one, GLWS and BIG purchase also

I am back to being a single-screen peasant. Hopefully only temporary, but I haven't got any more patience for re-arranging desks & furniture today.

OH has an ear infection. Nowhere in this whole corner of Scotland has antibiotics.

Absolute joke, feels like we're living back in southern NZ again.

E: Ah yeah, I forgot, no longer part of the big EU buying and stockpiling system. Yay, frickin Brexit.

Dealing with HP trying to return laptops with defective USB-C ports.

Initial issue being they could only raise a case for three on a single call and we have 4 to return...

After all that "fun" we have now received "Authorisation for Return" documents for 3 of them (the 4th seems to have gone AWOL) but the documents state returning to reseller...

Slight problem, we bought them directly from HP and not through a reseller...

What I thought was just some food that didn't land well and I'll be fine in the morning, now bares all the hallmarks of norovirus. My stomach is swollen like a balloon, I look 7 months pregnant (as opposed to the usual 5). I am in so much discomfort.
