I'm going for silence and air flow, nothing else maters... Now the problem with my last case a coolermaster wave master was that my raptors sound resonated through the case... and it was very loud! So, how would you mod this case? What needs to go inside... 2 raptors, 2 160 gig satas and 2 cd drives
No offense, bt the case looks like a POS. and I doubt the build qualoty would be that hot. But for starters: Bore out the 80mm fan holes to accept 120mm fans (or use adaptors). Clad the internals with acoustic matting (OCUK sells Akasa matting and it's cheap). Mount your drives in the the 5 1/2" bays using rubber blocks and rubber dampened screws. Fit Silicone gaskets to your fans. Drill out a 120mm blowhole in the roof of the case, and fit a 120mm fan there too. Should do the trick. Alternatively go for an akasa eclipse 62 like I am. Less modding that way http://www.akasa.co.uk/spec/cases/spec_ak_bkcse_01.htm
Well I do like a beantech... but I am in love with that coolermaster! I found this moded one.. looks nice! Edit: And I wish I could get that case over in the US! Thats my dream case!
I think it is a nice case I would add a window a lcd few led fans. Oh and I am shure the Newegg and the other sites were you got those are real happy your stealing there bandwidth.
Well considering I spent over 3,000 dollars on there site I think I'm intiteld to some of that bandwith...
my friend built a video editing machine in one of these and the build quality is very nice but im sure newegg and frozen cpu dont apreciate you stealing their bandwidth by hotlinking images
