I'm having trouble picking a monitor.

    My budget is $200 ~ $300 or €153.89 ~ €230.83 or £130.05 ~ £195.07 (I'm willing to go higher if it's worth it)

Since I'm a gamer I decided to forgo an IPS for the faster TN. I have the Dell SP2309W in mind (if you have any other suggestions, preferably 16:9/10, please let me know), but noticed the new 120Hz monitors.

Should I get one? If so, what would you guys recommend? If not, why?

The ACER 120 htx is the best deal but slightly out of your price range. Dell do decent TN panels

you might consider saving for an ips - great for gaming despite the lag (yuu're unlikely to notice) and the image is significantly better.

The question for 120htz is really about if yuo want 3d in the next 4 years....

    I really don't care much for 3d.

Then get an ips panel; image quality, colours and viewing angels are far superior to any TN and lag issue is abit of myth, in reality.
