    daft question but after a few drinks me and some mates stared talkin about what name would you put on your England shirt???

    for me it could only be No. 9 Shearer the god!!!

    what would you pick and why.................

    I will never - ever - ever wear a football shirt.

    Unless by some weird time-space distortion gets me and I end up playing football professionally, in which case I would expect to have my own name on the shirt

    I got a Team USA hockey jersey many years ago, and I put my own name on it, along with my usual number for when I play.

    I know it sounds a bit daft, but I figure if I'm going to pay extra money to have a name emblazoned on a jersey it may as well be my own.
