Please try not to use England and the UK/GB interchangably. I know the English population massively outweighs the Welsh, Northern Irish, or Scottish populations(even put together) but we do exist, and quite a lot of us do dislike the fairly common thing among people from the states to use England and Britain/UK interchangably, it hurts our feelings . I know its not meant maliciously and its probably not a huge deal for most people, but it does grind abit for some of us, thanks
Maybe a little lesson is needed for non UK/British/English/Scotish/Welsh/N. Irish people... The full name of all 4 countries is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales The United Kingdom constists of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Thus, the United Kingdom constists of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland ISN'T the same country as Ireland. You could say that England is in more than one country, such as England in GB, GB in the UK, and you could say the UK is in the country of Europe, which is turning into a country. Confusing, but that's us, and we're proud of it! BTW, we don't really like to be called British, and especially not European, we rather be English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish (A lot of N. Irish people call themselves Irish).
Not to negate your post MrWillyWonka, I don't mind British too much, it means people from the four nations, which is ok by me. I just dislike being the UK or Britain being used interchangably with England Anyway, as we've made obvious to you non-brits, we can be pretty touchy about our country of origin, so it pays to make doubley sure you're saying what you mean

U-S-A-! WOOooo... Its Okay. But, I like it better then Europe (Just got back last week). And in London, those cabs are crazy! Personally though, I'm from the best places in the US, born in Texas, live in Colorado. Oh, and on the Macdonald's thing, yeah, they were dumb, and only represent 2/3s of our population... Also, Nigeria is not on the list, we all know that they have access to the net.
Thankfully though Nigeria as a country does not know about the existance of HTTP, it's the best kept secret in history, but it has to be kept in order to keep those damn 419 scammers(86% of the Nigerian adult population) from expanding their scams into the realms of the web.
