I wonder what's on your mind is a most optimal gmaing mouse/pad couple. Lot's of people say lots of words. As for me, i used 1000,700,510 mx and some of the professional pads. But in the end i've discovered that the best is MX510 used with Steelpad 4D. Realy cool gliding with a very comfortable hand position. My hand feels quite comfortable. But it's just for me. Maybe u'll agree maybe not. What dp u think?

mx510 is a fine mouse indeed but I don't use pads, only table tops.

M$ trackball optical usb, any mousepad with a wristpad. mouse sensitivity cranked up to at least 75%.

works well for all games but Halo for some reason.

my old desk had a fairly restricted keyboard drawer, and i kept bashing my knuckles when i was trying to turn around. switched to the logitech trackball optical+wheel, and after about 20 minutes of adjustment, was hooked for life.

it was pretty much the same way when i went from an IBM model 6 to a M$ natural elite - stumbled around for a few hours, and now i can't type on a straight board to save my life.

I use Microsoft IE 3.0 with table desk as mousemat :baby:

I tried MX1000 for a few times, but the native sensitivity of the mouse itself is too high for me :sigh:

MX1000 but no mouse-mat for me as yet. I love this MX1000 though, it's excellent. There's no discernible lag and it's just badass.

currently use an MS Explorer v3. I was thinking of upgrading to MX1000, but after reading a few reviews which said the mouse went into sleep mode when they picked it up and took a second or too to wake once it was placed back on the mat/table I'm not too sure anymore...

One button Apple mouse and a 99p Maplin mousemat (best mousemat I have ever bought... like a wetsuit sort of material).
