    as name suggests tbh...
    would prefer 12months.
link me with tarrif options and opinions on both choice of contract and its provider as im truely stuck.and phone wise maybe a k800i but im not sure if theres anything better out?would prefer a flip phone... but NOT a brick V3 whatever...
will probably sell phone right away and use unlocked phone with sim providing its not 3mobile cause that wont work unless its a 3 phone right?
so links to deals and packages etc and terms and conditions as i dont get this offpeak and online stuff:S...

Maybe you should goto a place which specialises in this stuff, i dunno, like Carphone Warehouse, Phones4u, or even each providers shops?

e2save is the on-line version of carphone warehouse so generally has better prices. Plus if anything goes wrong (and your with e2save) you can take it into carphone and they sort it anyway.

I wouldn't touch phones4u with a bargepole - I've got nothing against their products or services, just their adverts are too damn shite.

I'd advise against using carphone warehouse. Recently I got out an 18 month contract, and after specifically asking to keep my old number (something they don't get commision for) they ignored me and stuck me with a new number. So, next day i went back and got a refund and canceled everything. A couple of days ago i get a bill for £40!
Carphone warehouse didn't cancel anything for 4 days after i returned it! I did make enough of a fuss in the end though and they gave me a cheque for £40. So even though I'm paying orange, I'm getting my money back.

I'd also advise agains phones for you. I went in there and mentioned straight away that I would be checking out everyone else first before making a decision. Ten mins later, they were trying to make me sign a contract for a phone i didn't even want because they didn't have the one i did want in stock. I found them overbearing and intimidating. They even did the fake "oooo... ahhhh... i don't think i can do it any cheaper, i'll just get my boss over (so that he can pretend to take a tenner off)"
By the end of the ordeal i walked out the shop without a word because there were three people all telling me that they couldn't possibly make it any cheaper and I couldn't be arsed with their **** any more.

My advice. Go to the actuall service providers shop and speak to them directly. They have far more controll over tarrifs and stuff. I've also found them to be less hostile and pursuasive as they are not so much driven by commisions.

id say buy the phone you want off the actual companies website, ive done that with my last 2 ones and have been happy, plus you get good web only deals. especially with orange. however right now im with vodafone.

Goto one of the shops to understand the difference between bills. Then goto Service Providers website or phone sales.

I know you've already mentioned not Three, but maybe you should wait and see what sort of deals and pricing they are gonna announce on their new X-series?
