Just got my PSP and am looking for game recommendations. My favorite kinds of games are FPS and RPG. Thanks in advance!

FPS - check out Coded Arms and Dead to Rights.
RPG - Nothing worth getting yet unfortunately.

If you don't like sports or racing then you are pretty much stuffed. Alternatives are Mercury - very original puzzle game, Lumines - another puzzle game but this one is a real audio/visual treat :).

Everyone likes Wipeout. Hot Shots Golf is (awesome) perfect for the mobile platform and really gets the most out of the PSP battery.

Coded Arms is supposed to be abysmal.

I'd recommend either Mercury or Wipeout. You'll get a lot of game time out of either of them.

yeah you can play games from over seas but you just cant use the movie UMD's from other countries sometimes.
if youve got a jap psp, youll be able to play R2 movies, but if youve got a uk psp it wont play r1 films just like proper dvd's.

and ive briefly had wipeout, and i personally think its much ado about nothing. complete cack in my eyes.

I got couple of questions can someone please answer:

    1) Can we always leave the UMD game disk in the PSP after we finish playing? Or do we have to put it back in the case?

    2) With PSP titles, do we get proper FULL games like PS2 titles, or are they cutback games with less levels etc?

    Thanks

1 - Leave it in. No problem with that.
2 - It is pretty much possible to get the full PS2 title onto a UMD disc it seems. They must cut down some textures or something. THUG2 on the PSP actually has more levels than the PS2 version (probably to get people to buy it for the PSP even if they have the another version). I don't think there are that many games at the moment that have had the same release on both consoles, but the PSP shouldn't and isn't getting cut down games.
