    No difference really. Companies will charge varying amount for the brand name, and other times because they overclock the card slightly.

    Say if i was to get the list below would that run games like GTA4 easy.

    1x INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q9550 2.83GHZ 12MB 1333MHZ 45NM QUAD CORE

    1x ASUS P5Q-EM (EXPRESS GATE) INTEL G45 CHIPSET LGA775 MATX

    2x CORSAIR TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF 2X2GB XMS2 DOMINATOR DDR2 , total of 8gb ram

    1x SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON HD4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E DUAL DVI TV-OUT

    1x Silverstone DA650 650W 100% Modular PSU


    Also any advice on the ram?

    You don't really need 8GB of RAM. 4GB is fine. Bit-tech did an article recently that showed that 8GB can actually decrease performance in some instances.

    Also, replace the Q9550 with the Q6600. It really isn't worth almost double the price.

    Other than that, looks good.

    Thanks for all the help man. Would be running windows xp 64 bit.

    Just reading the thing about ram at moment.
