What r the best speakers for £100 max?

    What do you guys think I want to get some new speakers as my cambridge sound works ones are over 6 years old and really need some new better quality ones for £100 max??

    Well, that depends on what you want/can accomodate. Now, I'm in the states, so I'm not sure about the prices you can get over in the UK, but...

    2.1 setup: Klipsch Promedia 2.1 or Logitech Z-340. The Klipsch's might be a bit past your price range, but the Logitechs definitely won't be
    4.1 setup: Logitech Z-540
    5.1 setup: Logitech Z-640

    Ohter good brands to look for: Altec Lansing and Midiland. Of course, the deciding factor will be how they sound to you. Best thing to do is to go down to a computer hardware shop and listen to them side-by-side.

    I would say the creative inspire 5300. Its 5.1 sound with volume control and is only about £80. Pretty cheap i think :)

    PC World are doing the Harmon/Kardon Elegant 2:1 speakers for £59, down from £149.

    Absolute bargain, and they sound cracking!
