soz just read your sig Sk8erFat and have to say this:

    ...BULLS ON PAR-ADE!! - dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun.. dun-dun-dun-dun-dun... *jump around a little*

    Ahem. :D

My 15" 60hz jobby does 1024x768, and is only meant todo 800x600 :D:D i got it to run at 72hz but the screen started flickering and you just *know* its gonna go pop any minute, so its back to bog standard 60 now.

I run at 1024x768 @ 85Hz, I can run higher, but at 1280x1024 I get the 60Hz look, I've got flicker sensitive eyes, and I can see 75Hz drawing, so 60Hz kills my head!

I think me next upgrade has to be a nice....errrrrr 17" sony, or maybe 19" (depends on funds of course :D) With being a student its more likely to be the 17", I'm already well into debt this year

Plus I wanna get a nice lil 10" monitor for sticking all the things like AIM, MSN, MBM5, winamp, etc... plus I could watch simpsons episodes at the same time as browsing :D

Just means getting a PCI grafix card to run the lil monitor off.... If I get one Ill have to post some pix :D

    Cheers

    Biggie

vivid on a 19" you should run at LEAST 1280x1024, and set the refresh rate way higher than 86Hz man!!!

use the OSD to resize it ;)

    i'd suggest nothing lower than 100Hz for 1152x864 ;)
