    CTX PR960F (Flat CRT)

CRT is cheaper and harder to have stolen, so also harder to move around and consumes more power. Better image quality too supposedly, I don't use a TFT so can't comment but I'm pleased with the quality of this. CRT also supports higher resolutions in general and doesn't have a native resolution so things still look good in a variety of resolutions. Bad point is you have to configure the screen so what you see fits onto it right.

This poll would be much better if it had checkboxes instead of only single selection; I know of many a bit-techer who runs both.

Run dual flatscreen CRT's. Dont really notice any difference over tft's tbh other than the massive loss of deskspace. These run nice resolutions at decent refreshes as well (1600*1200 @ 85) which is kind of the eyes... Wouldnt mind a couple of TFT's tho, to reclaim some deskspace....

Voted LCD cos thats what i mainly use but have a 17"crt in dual setup for some work and stuff :D Just when im not using one, the crt takes way to much space to be worth it over the tft.

I got 2 IBM P96 19" CRT Flat Screen monitors that have Dual Inputs.

    http://www-306.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-4FUT8C.html

These babies run at 100Hrz and Both are connected to my Game Workstation in Dual Mode.

The second input on monitor 1 is for my Firewall PC running Monowall and the second input on monitor 2 is for my Game/File Server Running Win Server 2003.

My big black beauties are far better than any TFT. TFT are getting better but still not as good as CRT Monitors. Refresh rates are slow on TFT's and the RES are not as high.

My IBM's are professional monitors and can handle anything.

I got both these cheap from a CAD computer company. They only had them 3 months and needed to get rid of them as they moved premises and had to get TFT 's for space reasons. They got 22" TFT's that were really good but very expensive as they are designed for CAD design.

Picked up both P96's for £85 each at £170 the pair and are only 3 months old. Not bad as there around £500 each new.

I got a bargain as they are new and in excellent condition. :)

I own a Iiyama ProLite E430 and i love it, much better quality than my crt (well it was a packard bell crt), looks sharper too although looking at it from the wrong angle can look dodgy but its hard 2 look at it at the wrong angle anyway :D .
