    Hello there,

I have modded my case a little bit. But i am getting tired of the case, it looks ugly. I don't know what to do, to make my case beautiful. But some people like the case. But do you have some suggestions? Don't come with ideas that are to expensive  I have some ideas in my head, like making gaps, so the cables can be lead threw. So i don't have to buy sleeving. :) and my case would look like if there are not many cables. But judge en place comments , suggestions whatever here about my case :) ..
(that line in the casewindow and that black thing. Must be cut out, i will do it another time) It is a casetek cs-1018.

I would start by painting it... Perhaps to match the front?

Well, the front has to be painted, it's damaged. But don't you like that strange metal effect?

Personally, no, but what matters is if you like it...

tidy up the cabling somewhat... you seem to be missing some cables yet it still looks cable cluttered,

Paint the front up so it all blends nicely... and either pick a colour of a gradient fill for the inside wash as it looks patchy.

the top area looks unit, and well.... empty, except for a big fat ugly molex pressed against the window..

i'm not a huge fanboy of the metal effect but its looks fairly groovy on your case... and as Stormtrooper said.. it doesn't matter as long as you like it :dremel:

Personally I'd get a rounded eide for the optical drives, wrap those power cables up, and preferably route them round the case so they are a little less obvious. I'd get rid of the molex connector up the top right, and run my own custom wiring round the outrside of the case for the fans/lighting out of sight.

    Some ideas
    remake the window.
    Pulish it to shiny metal.
change de plexi in all windows, you can use dark or colored plexi.

I like the shape of the window, and I like the way the metal looks now. Leave it that way :)

I also agree with the above poster that tinted plexi would look nice behind that window. Maybe.. black or green?
Sleeved cables would look nice.. Atro.nl sells pretty cheap sleeving kits (they also sell plexi, rounded cables and more fun stuff). Another option would be to go get some 'krimpkous' (heatshrink) at your local Gamma and use that ;)
Making holes and threading the cables behind the mobo tray would look nice as well, but might be a bit difficult.

    Paint that optical drive black!!

Change the lighting to one single color. Ideally the same color as the plexi.. (hm, black might be a problem though.. :p )
So.. Green plexi for window + green sleeving + green leds
or: Black plexi + black sleeving + white/red leds
    etc.

I'd put construction mesh in that window, and leave it a bit rusted it'd match the metal shard, mad max look loll :hehe:
Also UV neons would look great, would reflect on the grinded metal. They're always on sale and cheap :thumb:
