Meh, was sure I'd clicked in the P67 section, guess I wasn't paying enough attention, also to whoever said I didn't include a PSU, the case comes with a PSU installed already. Also don't really need an upgraded cooler if you're not going to overclock, but look like the OP has picked a different rig already. :)

Well after re-reading the posts I was tempted to ditch the gpu, get a H67 board and a 2500k. Glad I read up on the H67, as I found out they don't overclock. I'm now thinking along the lines of a 2400 and the Asus P8H67-8 Pro. Oddly 1333 ram is more expensive than 1600. If I buy the 1600 ram, will this cause a problem with this motherboard as it says it only accepts ram up to 1333?

Nope, the RAM will just default to 1333Mhz.

Cheers, thats what I thought. Always best to check though.

Have still not decided what route to go down yet:
955 excellent value for the money - a sensible option and I can game on it, should my other machine stop working.
2400 without a gpu, a sensible option that will do just what I am looking for.
2500k and overclock the nads off it. I do love overclocking.

Why not just buy a laptop?

I can see where you are coming from, but personally I can't stand them. I also really enjoy building new machines.

Got to go into a meeting at work now for 6 hours. Will give me plenty of time to think about what new machine to buy; won't be anything else for me to do ;)

Well I got out of my meeting early and I've ordered it.

I changed my mind slightly and went for this

£300 less than I was originally going to spend and should be a damn good system for what I need.

Thanks to all, for all of your help on this. It was much appreciated.

Nope, the H67 chipset of the motherboard uses in onboard graphics of the sandybridge i5's. It will be fine for what I need.

How did I not notice that? For some reason read it as a P67 board, oops!
