    Hi,

I'm in my senior (last) year of college and graduating (with some luck) this year. And I have been thinking (alot) about what I'm going to do next year. I would appreciate your opinions/experience on this mather.

First some information on my education. I'm doing a Bachelor in Graphical and Digital Media with specialisation: Commercial Management. It's 3 years, first year is general and last two are specilisation.

I'm not sick of studying just yet, but don't want to continue for years either. Possible 1 more year. I'd also have to get a loan to study, since parents can't keep on paying for everything. (commuting is too far without a car, so need a place near school)

    My options:
    1. Stay in my school and do a second specilisation in 1 year instead of 2. (Because I get to skip all the theoretical classes since I already did those) This would make more "all-around", wich will result in alot more choice of job.

    2. Go study 'Marketing' in the Netherlands for 1 year and upgrade my degree to a Master. This will give me the option to start at a better job then with a bachelor, but there are alot less jobs like this (for fresh-out-of-school guys). Plus I'd have to move (and get a loan for that) to the Netherlands.

    3. Go study 'Economics', it's a class to help you prepare for running your own business. It's 1 year and supposed to be very good. But this won't result in more job-offers. I'd be better off NOT putting this on my CV. As they will think you are just coming to get some experiance and starting your own business and possible taking some of his clients with you.

    4. Go work in the company I'm doing my intern (sp?) it's a very cool and fun place to work. They have just started construction for a new building and will be hiring more people to work there. So fun job, close to home. Only downside is not alot of chance to "grow" since its a family company and all the big-guys have the same last name.

    5. Go work for FM6. It's a relative new company, started by the inventor of a new imaging-technology. The inventor is retiring this year and they are looking for 1 experianced guy and 1 fresh from school to take over his job.

This would be a wonderfull start for me. It would envolve long hours and alot of travelling around europe. I'd get to meat alot of big companies in my sector, so very good for "networking". Probably a good pay aswell.

Downside is I will have to move to antwerp and leave friends/family here. Since the commute is just too far.

Any idea's? What would you do?
    (bases on this limited information)

    Thanks.

I wouldn't be much help, but just find something you enjoy doing.
    Nothing beats it.

For option 2: be aware that some HBO's or Universities in Holland give you a master degree that's useless. Because it isn't an offical master degree, so if you go for Option 2 inform if it's a 'real' master degree.
    I haven't found and HBO where I get a offical master degree (and i've searched ;) )

    Maybe nice to know
