I'm trying to cut a 16 gauge steel using a stencil and jig saw. I was wondering besides the Dremel, if there's any other tool(s) that would make it easier to cut out a stencil on steel?

Is it a large item? Otherwise try and hand-fret saw. It'll take a while, but should look good.

A good jigsaw with a fine metal cutting blade.

Scroll saw might be easier, router won't be.
