+1 for mobile site Most of my time on BT is spent on the forums so that would be what I'd most like to see in a mobile friendly format, a mobile web page would be better for me than a specific BT app and would avoid the issue of people with non Iphone devices. As for how it would be laid out, I would like to have a single list of articles with links/tabs at the top for access to latest news, latest articles and an index for all the tabs that are currently at the top of the BT homepage. For a mobile friendly forums layout I would like to see an option to have pics replaced with a clickable link to speed up loading so you would be able to open only pics you want to see. I have no experience of web development so I have no idea if what I'm asking for is possible, just saying what I would like to see. Moriquendi
Another one here for a mobile site rather than an app. Even if you were to put in a load of effort with apps for each platform, I still tend to prefer mobile sites (touch.facebook.com rather than the app for example). wrt content, ideally as much as possible. I have used all parts of the site on my phone including the forums. If you have just bought or sold something, looking up someone's details when you get to the bank/post office is very useful!
HTML5 app style mobile website? Like how you can save that html5 demo app (brainiumstudios.com/webapp) on the iPhone, which i presume you can use with a blackberry/android/symbian phone.
As an iPhone user, I agree with some of the other folks that I would benefit more from a mobile friendly site, rather than a dedicated Bit-tech app. It would reach a wider audience, and I gather that it would be easier to develop, rather than a specific app for a bunch of different devices.
any update on this? im posting from my phone and it would work sooooo much better with a mobile site.
