Just look in the "fun on the school network" and "pranks you wish you did" threads. One I did last year on my mum's laptop was to take a screen shot of an error message, change the text to something like "Warning virus detected. Run your antivirus immeadeately" and then saved the image onto her desktop. Took her bloody ages to figure out after restarting a whole load of times. When she went a way for a bit I tried to make it obvious by setting the background to tiled covering her desktop in loads of error messages .
Bad!!Poor old mum...lmao. Done a simular thing at work with a guys desktop. Done a screen dump of his desktop then saved it as his wallpaper then hid all his desktop icons. you can guess the rest.
i plan on hiding and hopeint no one tries to fool me what day is it this year my dad usually tries to fool me by waking me up then saying something and as im not awake the answer is no usually goes along the lines of "steve wake up do u want 100 quid" "mhhhh mppppp phhhhh noooooo go away AGGGGGGG no dont open the curtains"
well I have a load of astro packs in work, I think I'll stick one under the wheel of each car in the car park and watch with pure joy as people check their tyres
Like bubble wrap, but they're like chrisp packets stuck end to end.. when someone drives over one it goes pop!
If you've ever bought something from online stores, it comes in a massive box and the rest is filled with see-thru 'crisp packets' - thats the stuff EDIT: damn Phat beat me to it...
Hey Lithium, take it you didnt do any work after I left today. Check out your P:/ drive when you go into work tomorrow - an early April fools.

i have a good one for the poor souls (interns) who are in our datacenter late that night when no one else i around.. We have a 10k sq ft datacenter that is full of unix/linux boxes all with sound cards, so me and the cto wrote a nice lil script that plays random sounds files on random boxes at random intervals.. some of the sounds include "help me" "hey, over here" "please god save me" ... you get the point. muhuwahahahahaha
mmmmz, well I guess I'm too late to program a little virus for the schoolnetwork, but next year I'll get another chance
