Would be nice, something to go toe-to-toe with Planetary Annihilation! :D

Nothing like being spoilt for choice!

It's an innovative new FPS where you take the role of Joe Dangerous, ex CIA operative who went Rogue and is now having to fight to clear his name. With spectacular DX9 graphics and an explosive single player campaign that is over 30 minutes long. With DLC promised on Day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and a multiplayer experience played in over 2 different modes. Made exclusively for PC*

*also available on Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, PSP, Wii, WiiU, iOS, Android, Kindle, DS and Mobigo.

yeah hopefully its not like supcom 2 didnt get into that much,
still play forged alliance online sometimes and we had some pretty epic games with the black ops unleashed pack ( experimental cheesecake )
we should get the bit-tech guys together to have the mother of all games
seatons clutch 20min no rush, vs 4x alx ai becomes SO hard its so much fun

I'd be happy with something in between 1&2 - the scope of the first game, and the economy of the second.

That said, I don't know if it's going to be an RTS.

I actually much preferred the economy model of the first one. The simpler nature and speed of the 2nd one just didn't appeal to me as much as the original one or TA.

I played SupCom 2 first, before trying SupCom 1 then SC:FA. I now prefer SC:FA over SC2 just for the sheer scale of the battles. SC2 maps were just too damn small! Plus they nerfed the Fatboy and made the Monkeylord wayyyyy too powerful.

I read somewhere that the fact that each number on the timer has a different phase of the moon may have something to do with the project. But that could all just be a load of crap... I too hope for another SupCom, put 100's of hours into that series.

Hmm, so what is that? A volcano? Could be a spiritual sequel to TA Kingdoms? The background on the countdown page looks like stone, and combined with the above image makes me dismiss it as a supcom game.

Anyone else feel a kickstarter project coming on?

my votes are for Total Siege Commander (incredibly detailed medieval mil-sim with base building), or Supreme Dungeon Annihilation (dungeon keeper, but with the scale of TA or supcom1). fingers crossed.

Maybe they saw Godus get funded the other day!

I never played Supcom or Supcom 2 - are they worth picking up now or are they better left to nostalgia?

No, they definitely still play very well!

SupCom is just amazing for what it offers. Hell, Total Annihilation still plays great!

The scale of SupCom and the economy model is fantastic. Very few quibbles with the game at all.

All looks a bit Demigod-ish to me. A sequel to that?

I wouldn't object to that. I've sunk plenty of hours into Demigod. Simple dota game, but I love it :D
