No, but it's been a very long day; I normally get home and change my socks around half four.

You know, just like everyone else?

 

Expected new phone and new glasses today, got the specs but phone delayed.

Edit: phone did arrive but unfortunately I am unable to set it up as after selecting English (United Kingdom) I am asked to choose my region but strangely the United Kingdom or Great Britain is not listed, neither I note is the United States of America, which means I cannot go any further in the set up process. So have emailed the company for advice. The phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X 32GB 4G.

 

We've only got blue milk. Which, whilst delicious and full of fatty goodness for drinking/cereal makes a god awful cup of tea

Roll on Asda.

 

Won't be getting an SSD after all...

Have not slept in 4 days....need sleep!! Tonight may be the night I hope...if not i will try not sleeping alone tomorrow I have 3 diffrent options......what do you do when you littertly can not sleep...I am tired..

 

The joys of an Autistic child. We had one of her friends round to stay the night - Honestly wish I'd said no.

Spent the whole morning crying because "people keep touching my things" and "my sisters are better friends than I am", among other things.

Do something productive. I've suffered from Insomnia since I was about 14. It's difficult to do something when you're tired; I fully understand it when people say "Oh I bet you get loads done if you can't sleep" and you want to wring their neck, but you probably couldn't because the lack of sleep drains all your strength, but it's partly true.

I sleep 4 hours a day, a day, not at night. I have a polyphasic pattern, I sleep about two hours in the morning, and about 2 hours in the evening. That's literally all I can do.

But I clean. I tidy up and make sure everything is done for the day ahead. It makes you more relaxed, pushing through the tiredness to do something that quite honestly, you don't want to do because you can't concentrate properly. I make sure my Daughters' school clothes are laid out, and the mrs. has work attire and all that stuff.

No one else comes in here, so I've only got myself to blame. But that doesn't make the job any easier!

 

Well besides the "disgrace" you speak of...I looks PRETTY damn cool in there..

 

Went to review and edit a document. Discovered that I've somehow managed to delete the bottom quarter of it. Instead of reviewing and editing, I spent the evening putting it back together from back-ups and a pdf version. Thankfully a few rounds of diffing and editing got me back to the original document, word for word, line for line. It took a few hours and it was a pain in the arse.

 

Ugh big Pita!! Great you were able to recover it!!

 

It's a total man-cave in here. That's why it gets so messy, it doesn't have to be presentable!

 

Aside from getting up at 6 am to drive an hour for a class that is turning out to suck?

Mostly the scum that is YouTube commenters. I spend literally hours shooting and editing a video, it gets 4 views in the first 12 hours, and one of those people takes the time to say that I shouldn't quit my day job because my videos are shite. Why do I even bother?

 

So what a perfect Place I would say!!

 

The default really needs to be 'Save As' not just 'Save'... similar has cost me time and unnecessary effort in the past...
