Being called a goddamn faggot is not an experience I enjoy. I do not have sex with anyone, I'm simply choosing to make my external sex match my internal. It's already hard enough without needless asshattery.

Do I talk about this a lot? Most important decision I ever made. But, it also hurts. To think that someone disapproves so hard of what you are tha they will breach the rules of decorum to yell it in a parking lot, that's sad.

But I guess it will make me stronger, if I let it.

Rainy again up here in Edinburgh, I don't think we have had two dry days this summer. Roll on winter if it is anything like last year it will be cold but sunny and more importantly dry.

Was half an hour from home on the way back from a two-week holiday in the Lakes - lovely, by the way - when the car stalled. Had a peek at the dash, and the temperature has redlined. Whack the heater on full blast, just getting cold air out of it. We pull in to a layby, the reservoir is absolutely bone dry. I throw a bottle of water down it, which proceeds to drip onto the road - there's a hose right slap-damn in the middle of the engine which has sprung a leak.

Not much I could do about it, so it was a chance to test my insurer's roadside recovery service for the first time. Half an hour later, a mechanic turns up; confirms that there's now to do by the side of the road. About an hour after that, the tow truck arrives to bring us home - and now the next annoyance will be the bill that'll turn up from the garage when we get the damn thing fixed...

We couldn't have broken down in a better place, though: there was a snack wagon to pick up some more water from, a massive blackberry bush, and a snicket through to a canalside walk. Could have been a lot worse!

And at least it was on the way home rather than the way there...

****ing twatting arseholes on the ****ing road. Trying to merge on to a dual carriageway and there's traffic in the right-hand lane, so vehicles can't move over to let me merge. Fair enough, I'll match my speed so I can merge into a gap in the traffic, no big deal. Was about to merge ahead of a camper van and in the time it takes me to look in my mirror and then look over my shoulder, said camper van had sped up to pull alongside me and I have to slam on the brakes and practically stop dead in the slip lane (this, by the way, is why we call them "life saver" checks). I overtake the knobcheese to get the hell out of his way. A little while down the road the very same camper van cuts back in front of me leaving barely a foot between my front wheel and his back bumper. Some furious gestures were exchanged (good thing about being on a bike: if you want to stick your fingers up at someone it's a hell of a lot easier for them to see it); I wouldn't normally react, but it **** me right up. I was livid at the time but was quite shaken by the time I pulled into the supermarket I was heading to.

I am sure I started a thread on design flaws but cannot find it. Anyway my Vax steam cleaner was playing up, not producing much steam so thought I would see if I could sort it as there cannot be much involved with these things.
First and quite a major problem was actually separating the handle and the floor head from the main body. This was not a simple task, though on paper it certainly looked as though it should be. Press a couple of buttons is all it would take provided I had the strength of Hercules. Not the first time I have encountered design flaws with Vax products which are pretty rubbish anyway. Work great out of the box but a few uses down the line and the are crap. Still the cable I removed before scrapping it will be of use on the lawnmower who's cable I managed to run over the last time I used it.

My G700 rat is dying again. Already replaced both switches for primary buttons and now three out of four thumb buttons are acting up.

We went to Party at the Palace in Linlithgow last weekend, it stayed dry both days - but has rained continually since then :(

Don’t know if i'm just being salty or what but lately i’ve been following crypto like the plague making a rather tidy profit, but it takes me hours upon hours trying to read charts, white papers, and following this crap then when someone heard about my profits they wanted in big time, so now i’ve got someone basically copying all my trades knowing absolutely nothing about it but making a rather large profit compared to my own.

Like a 30% profit to me is £30, where as a 30% profit to him is £300 and from allowing him to do this i’m getting absolutely nothing for my effort.

I just feel like all my research, and time and work should at least amount to something, but then i keep telling myself yano it’s his risk because he’s putting the funds in for his trades.

Opinions? I generally wouldn't mind but i'm broke, can't get a damn interview and i'm being forced into this gambling crap i guess but i kinda figure the more time i put in and the more positive i am about the trades i make the less it makes it a gamble, i know it's still gambling but yano.

^^ Depends how youre trading it, but you could set up an LPOA for the trading accs and take off a percentage - just get it done in writing.

Thats how most EA/AM's work for trading firms.

Fundraising through social media, regardless of how many tips articles and guides I've read, it's still a minefield of skills required and paid promotions that need to be perfect to the letter or fail miserably. On the other hand, some of the ridiculous things done for posts can be amusing ..if not a tad uncomfortable. [IMG]

Wanna talk about salt? Try selling a top-end XFX RX480 GTR for £170 (INCLUDING POSTAGE), only for the prices of 2nd hand cards to go north of £300 a few weeks later because of miners. The lucky SOB who got that off me probably had a nice free upgrade to a GTX 1070/80....

In this particular instance it appears that there's an oversupply of salt :D

If he made a 30% loss, would you be willing to refund him £300? If not, then it's not really fair to complain he's taking a 30% profit and you're not seeing the benefits.

True he's risking his money but it's on the back of someone else's hard work.

In other news my day started with a chundercat. Lovely.
