On the way back from marriage counselling put down for my thoughts and feelings, told me I didn't say what I said I said, how it's pointless to be doing it and we might as well just end it fully, and I'm thinking, why even try. When asked if we have communication problems I answer that we've been unable to communicate properly for ages. She then tells me why I'm wrong. Okay then, I guess we communicate perfectly and always have. I'm sorry, I forgot that I'm not me and I don't know what I'm saying.

Was sorting a huge backlog of old photos, something I've been postponing for years.
While lazily scrolling through pictures from back in 2008 I had backed up for my grandma I came upon a few of my grandpa lying on the couch.
It took me a few moments to fully realise these were taken mere moments after my grandma discovered he had died that morning - after we all thought he had conquered his cancer and the chemo. You can see her hands shaking in the blur. I looked at the first 2 of 10 pictures and had to stop.

Now, this isn't really ruining my life but I am a bit shaken. Also ashamed for casually rifling through my grandmother's most personal moments. Ashamed for sharing it here, but I needed to write this down some place.
My assignments can wait till tomorrow, however close the deadline. I'm going to make a cup of Chung Hao and watch Porco Rosso to cheer up a bit.

More of an annoyance than ruining my life... the stormy weather in Cornwall.
It knocked out my power yesterday afternoon, still not got power at home this morning.

The stupidest people always come out for bad weather...
We've had a lot of idiots along the coast going right up to the harbour edge when the waves are intense enough to rip down the wall... it's bad enough being hit by a strong wave, let alone one dragging a huge chunk of stone or a metal railing with it.

Do photos of sunny places on your PC/Laptop make you hiss and recoil?

I do get the whole driving like an idiot in poor weather is stupid, but it works both ways. You get people driving so slowly it actually causes risks.

Also, new bags been delayed on delivery to Monday, had to resort to basically a carrier bag for bringing all my crap to work. stuffs too much for one so I have two an feel like a pikey.

Ha yeah, I really must get my teeth filed down :)

Bad drivers are bad drivers, they do seem to be more obvious in bad weather it is true.

Sounds like the end of mine. Mine just clung onto the fact I am bipolar, anti social and ASD. Forgetting that she was also bipolar and ASD and had stopped taking all of her meds after an epiphany.

Jesus christ she was crazy. Absolutely crazy. Everything was my fault, and all because I was mental.

She's changed her name twice since then and I am the crazy one. It literally got to the point where we could not even say anything to each other without arguing.

I miss Tel, Wayne and Kid. I just wanted to say this, so that they know I still think of them all of the time. I guess if I didn't say nothing no one would know, huh?

Love you guys. I hope you are all up there laughing at us modding.

For a moment there... i thought i was going to follow the contents of my stomach over the side of the High Level bridge...

...was hoping to make it to make it a little further into 2018 before anything like this reared its head...

My ex employer have sneakily revoked my Office 2016 license for both Windows and my MacBook Pro that I bought for £9.99 a piece when working for them last year. I've still got the keys they just won't activate anymore :(

If that's via the HUP then it's totally in accordance with the T&Cs, unfortunately.

Edit: still, a bit petty of them to pull the plug on you as you feel that would have taken more effort than just leaving things be!

I don't forget. In fact, I'm reminded of Tel on a regular basis - his four way SLI bridge is in one of my display cabinets.

Yes sadly it is having looked at the HUP t&c

Might be able to get them again discounted through my current employer but I don't think that we have any agreement with MS for it so I might be out of luck.

Unfortunately that's nothing sneaky on their part. When your office365 account is deactivated which happens when your user account is deleted, it removes your linked personal account which had the HUP keys on. In theory, Office activated with HUP keys will attempt to revalidate annually, and new activations will fail also.

On the bright side, you can get grey keys on Ebay for less than you paid for the HUP license.

I guess I was lucky to have it still working up until yesterday then. I was made redundant in July, shows how slow the companies IT department is then in deactivating my account and email address.

See what I can turn up on ebay :)
