[mild annoyance]I just got cut rather badly in three places on both arms (two on one, one on the other) by a 120mm holesaw I was working in a crawlspace at a customers house which is just big enough for me and nothing more - It's kinda like a coffin actually - when I plugged the drill into the extension reel, the drill span up because the stupid trigger hold button was pushed in and making contact. It bounced around in front of my face for about 10 seconds, the blade hitting both of my arms before I caught hold of the cord and yanked the plug out of the reel. I'm in the minor injuries room at the local community hospital at the moment, waiting to have them cleaned up and dressed... but the doctor says they're fine, just superficial flesh wounds [/mild annoyance]

 

Sounds as though you are lucky it was your arms it cut, and not your face. Hope it heals fast.

I've got the squirts, and it isn't pretty. And my spleen burst this morning.

 

It's was microwaveable mac and cheese and apparently I didn't hold the cup tight enough and it drop it with most of it spilling on my leg

 

Being given a PowerPoint slideshow with a .png AutoCAD print-out inserted in it, along with an old AutoCAD file and being told to replicate all of the features on the image in the AutoCAD file.

I have to match lineweights, scale, font type and size, etc. I have no idea. It could be a .20mm lineweight printed at 1280x1024 or a .40mm lineweight printed at 2560x2048 and it would look the same, all depending on how much the original image was rescaled when put into the slideshow. Also, having no dimensions at all makes scale entirely impossible. Everything is totally arbitrary and I am totally lost as to how I am expected to do this. Oh, did I mention that I have no knowledge of what either the image is portraying or the AutoCAD file are so there are no context clues?

Very frustrating.

 

The combination of flu and hangover imma have tomorrow morning. Now it's just the flu, though, so everythings' fine.
