How about a large tote or crate instead. It'll also be useful for the move.

I did ponder a RUB or five - Since I already have a load of those, and they stack nicely - But when I get to the destination, I want them on shelves/whatever so I can alphabetise/genre and be able to get at them easily. Not sure what I'd do with the empty RUB's after that.

Sadly, moving country, I'm not sure I'll know the best ways to do that immediately - We're doing a little bit of downsizing (UK->Germany) in the process to accommodate for new furniture and the like. Not to mention me driving there, because the RS will be pried out of my cold, dead, fingers before it leaves my possession.

Thought that PSU had a 120 month warranty. Maybe try to RMA ?

Nope. You have no warranty without the original invoice; and you have to be the original owner.

Yeah, I bought it new, but I don't have any receipts. Still got other stuff to sell.

Did you buy it from an online store? You may be able to get an invoice from an account area of their website.

"Why isn't the site HTTPS!!!! This is a security risk and your site is bad"
*spends a bunch of time researching and making the forums HTTPS
"Why do my HTTP images not work anymore? They work everywhere else. Your site is bad"
And people wonder why I'm the only dev that visits the forums regularly

Clients that say "it's not good enough. Is it." really get under my skin. Only because it's their own fault we're in a perticular situation.

It’s 4:32am why am i still awake? Oh that’s right because evo when your knackered, magically you solve something you’ve been stuck on for 3 days and you find a cable that actually works as a step-in for that multimeter you spent 3 hours turning the house upside down for… i guess payment will be due during work hours tomorrow.

Which is why I make sure that I have an answer for everything with emails and forms to back things up.

"That's not good enough, is it?"

"sorry, but I did ask for that information on (date), and again on (date), and for further clarification on (date), and then on (date) I did inform you that I would have to go ahead and use assumptions due to lack of information".

    "Oh, I never saw those"

"You were copied in on the first 3 emails and the last one was sent to you directly at (time) on (date)"

2 rules of project engineering; don't start anything without a purchase order, and keep a record of EVERYTHING.

    Rule 0; Users Lie.
    Rule 1; Cover Your Ass.
Rule 2; It's not the DNS until it is the DNS.
Rule 3; Plugs are always mysteriously disconnected.

    And so on.

On a personal note; I'm having to handle just a hilarious workload right now. I need an Adult. A More Adult Adult.
