My Nexus 4, which I use very rarely, being the slowest phone ever to be allowed to run without getting a bullet between its non-existent eyes.

This text took me more than 2 minutes, ffs.

I can tell I'm drunk already and we haven't even had the meal or gone out yet. This is going to be an eventful office Christmas party

Toilets at work are full of people getting changed and ready for the work Christmas party, which I am not going to as I have no interest in socialising with most of the people who work there.

Most places the toilets would be smelling better on this day, but not this place it's like a mixture of old spice combined with winter green and deep heat.

Not to mention if you actually need the toilet you cannot use one as they are full of people getting changed.

If I am at this place next year, I will be working from home on the day of the Christmas party.

Alphonso got his first confirmed kill.

It's amazing that despite being indoor cats for the first 2 years of their lives they've still got that killer instinct. But running after him to get it (twice), hoovering up all the feathers (twice) I'm now ****ed.

Until you've gotten up to find the external and internal components of a rabbit spread evenly around the kitchen it doesn't count.

Ours is the same, although she's older and doesn't do it now.

She's brought mice and small birds in and ran upstairs with them. Thing is she must havd a gentle touch because they all lived.

Chasing mice and birds is easier than cleaning them up though.

Crack (fortunately small) in the windscreen that supposedly isn't covered by my insurance provider (Edit: just checked my policy and says I am...) .... Maybe that's karma for switching to save myself a few quid.

Estimated cost £379 so far.... which would be fine if I had a penny to my name.

My son is also ill and being a massive magnet, not eating the food he is supposed to eat and getting up in the middle of the night for a good ol screaming session which can only be solved by milk. He then wakes up the next morning grouchy, again not wanting food because of said milk and being a magnet yet again.... I'm letting him go because he feels rough but its going to be a long weekend.... I feel like sometimes I'm the only one actually interested in making sure is getting the correct amount of food and water. If I didn't say anything and force the issue constantly with my partner and her extended family he'd probably live off chocolate buttons and wotsits…

Me: "Has he had much to eat?"
Family: "No I don't think he's hungry, he didn't like his lunch"
    Me: "He loves it normally"
Family: "Nope, didn't want it think he wasn't hungry so he had chocolate buttons, wotsits, two yogurts a biscuit and a bit of cake"
Me: "But you just said he wasn't hungry...."
Family: "Yeh? He's very grouchy still"
Me: "Maybe needs a sleep or some milk"
Family: "Yeah didn't want his milk either"
Me: "So you gave him the water?"
    Family: "What water?"
Me: "I best just take him home now....."

Now to spend the day listing on eBay and shaking off this snotty monster from my ankle.

Mother - "Have you seen the latest ep of Master Chef? it was really good !"

Me - "No not yet ma, don't ruin it".

Mother - "OK. It's a shame she went out though, her mousse split".

    *FUME*.

Ruining might be an over-reaction, but.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is doing my head in. There's achievements for completing the four main campaigns on different difficulties, which is fine. They even stack, which is nice.

However. Every campaign level is recording I've completed it on Heroic single player, and yet. The achievements (Three for Heroic/Normal/Easy) are reporting 92% complete.

I guess I have to re-play every level again? Mildly irksome. I hate the Arbiter missions.

I have good news for you and I have bad news for you.

The good news is that you won't have to replay the Arbiter's endless run through Flood and Robots level or the Tropical Jackal Sniper Gauntlet again.
The bad news is because the percentage based achievements in MCC are bugged and no matter how many times you play through those levels they probably won't unlock.

It's a well documented bug that 343/Microsoft seem to have either no ability or no inclination to fix.

Passport photos (thankfully not for a passport).

    Sit down.
    Get settled.
    Take photo. Well, take three.
Happy with that one, looks ok.
Yeah, i'll print that thanks, money paid.
    Wait outside.

In between the screenshot and it being printed out the machine applies a fisheye lens, a hammer to the face and a dozen extra flashes.

Great. Yet another photo in which my other half doesn't recognise me and it looks like i'm due in court.

What frickin happens when you're waiting?!?
