Some poncy beer company have taken over Tennents, the best pub on Byres Road in Glasgow.

If that wasn't bad enough, they want to change it from a classic old bar with no music, great bar staff and loads of real ales (if you like that sort of thing), and make it in to a 'bistro'. FFS, we have millions of them on Byres road, leave one of the last traditional pubs in the West end alone ya pr*cks!!!

Sheesh, the chances of finding another good pub is pretty much zero, might have to give up the beer if this goes through!!

 

Found an old set of skullcandies in my room to replace my broken ones from yesterday... Guess what happened when I plugged em in today... They too were broken. Looks like I'll have to buy a new set. Ughh

Ninja edit: I walked to futureshop to buy a new pair of headphones and they don't open till 10 since its "part of the mall which doesn't open till 10." Your damn website says 9 so open up!

This day just keeps getting worse. I was supposed to be working media for the Giants match in Belfast tonight and another job problem has come up with a customer which needs to be sorted by the morning. This SUCKS.

 

My right tonsil is hurting like mad, It's swelled so much i can hardly breath, My right ear feels like someones pushing a pin though it, i can't raise my head else my neck Hurts, i can't open my mouth over like 1cm, This goes on for about a week i think?

But then again i have just seen something that's extremely made me think, "bugger it no time for moaning just get on with it, move on"

 

Sounds like tonsilitis mate, I had it a few months ago, I had what appeared to be Quincy as well, wasn't fortunately, but nonetheless, it was mightily painful, Doctor chcuked me on 1000mg of anti-biotics a day, was oh so pleasent. I'd pop over to a Doctors surgery if I were you!

Mixing penecillin and Brandy? Good choice! When I had tonsilitis I was almost hospitalised due to being nearly unable to swallow fluids, thank christ for milk!

you should try sending them in under warranty, if I remember correctly, Skullcandy has a very lenient lifetime replacement policy, and if it was fault, you get 50% off a replacement purchase too....

The fact that my jumper currently spends strongly of formaldehyde. I need to stop cutting up dead people. It's just perverted.

 

In major pain, Gone though so much ibuprofen, I've been waking up in bed with Buckets of water pouring off me due to the high fever, atm my head feels dazzed as hell, i keep coming really close to fainting. I don't know if im getting to get paid for working this week, As i've not gotten out of bed once, "he better!", Hope im better by friday, I went to collect this guys rent who's always behind like sunday, and apparently after i gave him a massive shouting at for not managing his money well, After i left, he came out the room shouting, "I'll take him on, I'm not scared!, He's Always on my Back!" I'll have him!" another nicely behaved tenant in the house texted me after i arrived home... So hopefully if i'm better friday, I'm going to ask him for his rent, then make a example out of him.

On the upside, I have now not smoked for 3 days? that's pretty damn good eh? And me folks are cooking my favourite meat Sunday, Roast Pork with lovely Crackling, When places leave crackling off roast pork, it makes me rage lol

The novice women dropped 2 oars on a boat that I was working on. Thankfully no damage but later that day they dropped a 170lb outboard motor onto the dock and just looked at it as it sat in about 5cm of water.

I am not sure if the motor still works and I am going to be ****ing livid if it doesn't crank over.

 

My sympathies for your pain but you're a lucky sob if you can expect to be paid for being in bed all week... Unless of course you mean statutory sick pay, in which case damn right you better get paid
