 Oh, believe me, missing your point was entirely deliberate

Pro tip: get a basin of cold water and put your feet in it. Deliciously refreshing :brrr:

I hope that was sarcasm. I really do.

If the forecast didn't predict a cooling off after tomorrow, I'd already be making my Cheapskate Air Conditioner: bucket of ice water, aquarium pump, some flexible tubing, and some copper pipe wound around the front grille of a fan :brrr:

Nope... when at school I would be the only one with rolled up shirt sleeves - while other has coats on, indoors - when there was 6" snow on the ground, outside.

We've laid some turf, and it needs watering daily. To avoid all the water just evaporating, I'm doing it in the evenings. The sprinkler does all the work but I have to move it half way through, so I have little choice but to sit in the garden and keep an eye on it:

That sounds like a right pain, having to deal with that Duveltje.

Not only the turf that needed watering... :p

Sometimes what ruins my life is being alive/able to think... I can't stop analysing stuff that is only an issue for me, where others would just let with the same situation not bother them.

This is the greatest Quake player of all times and a damn kind and nice person to boot. He doesn't deserve losing his girl. Not ever, but definitely not this early (he's not even 35 yet).

I am the same, ~15°C is my idea temperature depending on how active I am. I have never understood why people seek out hot climates for vacations. I also have similar feelings towards humidity.

@Byron C I'd have already broken out that DIY chiller. While you have an ice bath you can then check the calibration of your probe if you haven't done so recently. Those handle TC units have notoriously poor calibration (some don't include CJC).

It won't be soon, knocking about ten degrees off over the next day or so.

Me too and, especially hot and humid, like my idea of hell, only worse.

It's gonna be hot and wet! That's nice if you're with a lady, but ain't no good if you're in the jungle!

I must be the only lizard here as I feel cool most of the time unless I'm in direct sunlight! I actually was feeling chilly this afternoon, even though it was easily over 26C in my room! Its really odd as previous years I used to really struggle with the heat, I'd get heat stroke really easily, but this year it feels fine!

Have you considered getting your thyroid function checked?

Yeh, I'm thinking that too, but it'll be impossible currently.

Well, we could really do with some rain, everywhere round here is looking parched but, despite having rain on and off for some hours now, the garden still looks bone dry.
