It appears my to be ex wife who never seemed as interested in going to Bloodstock when we was together is going to Bloodstock this year, this will be interesting

 

Cheers, together for 5+ years and engaged, been a rough year.
Hopefully we'll chat about things and I'll try to get some clarity and we'll be able to move forwards amicably.

 

My ageing desk chair (that has been patched up numerous times) broke last night and dumped me onto the floor. One of the legs that the wheels attached to broke, dropped the wheel out and tipped the chair. Got a huge bruise on the back of my right hand now, a seriously stiff and aching left wrist and my back is screaming at me. Dosed up on several pain killers, but feeling soooo bad right now.

 

$%&£ing jumbo frames, and being disabled by default, even on a 10g switch.

Most of last night and this morning has been taken up by troubleshooting an intermittently dodgy ESXi server. It's been mothballed for around 6 months since moving house and finally racked up once again. Hanging web console, unable to connect, timeouts, can see the storage one second and not the next. Tried just about everything I could think of and was about to reinstall thinking maybe the microSD has gone flaky and then I saw it.

The NAS was what I was worried about, after being sitting in a box for so long - I needn't have been, everything spun right up no problems.

 

Eugh. ****ing Jumbo frames.
