    We have had 48C heat indexes more than once, and at least one 50C. I would have been fine if my pain patch hadn't been trying to murder me (heat activated buprenorphine.) Changed method of delivery and I'm good.

    With your pain patch, I wonder if that's just an unexpected ('cos they never thought of it) issue, or one that they thought, yeah, but it'll never get that hot.

    Preliminary prognosis is bleeding hemorrhoids, with a side of diverticulitis. Currently awaiting results of blood tests to see whether bum fun time is now or in 2 weeks.

    To add to the general unpleasantness today, massive fire nearby has added the smell of smoke to the mix, and has started dropping bits of ash down on our lawn tinder box :/

    I hate "Evri" print-in-store label machines!

    They work perfectly for the guy in front of me sending stuff manually for his ebay (so he's paying), but completely ignore my Amazon returns QR code! :wallbash:

    Bloody insects. Apparently got bitten/stung by something on the weekend. Today my foot and half my leg are swollen and red, walking hurts. I was supposed to board a plane in about an hour to fly to a workshop in Zagreb (workshop's tomorrow), but that's off now.

    Hate the little shitfaces. Absolutely hate them.

    I refuse to use Evri for this very purpose (and they're pretty rubbish!). I've found zooming in slightly on the email copy works sometimes.
