For some reason, my SyncFolder task is no longer working properly to back up my OneDrive on my phone's SD

FFS Microsoft or Sony or Google or whoever, WTF have you been fiddling with now?

    Me again.

I think the company I work for is in its final death throes .

Had four people leave or hand in their notices over a short period (and we only have about 20 people), two of which were quite long serving. And yet upper management is jetting over to other countries and talking about blue sky stuff.

I once worked at a place where we were going to a leaving drink about every week, sometimes two together. So I decided to keep a track of the turnover on a spreadsheet. We had about 120ish people there when I started tracking and went through something like 96% turnover in 14 months or so - and that didn't include anyone who joined after the spreadsheet was created and left quickly afterwards. Bonkers

Then I handed in my notice and stopped tracking anything.

Smells like it might be time to find the escape committee yourself.

Last week, my wife and I spent a lovely evening with the 20-ish people in her company, out of which four celebrated leaving. I know everyone there and it's hitting them hard. My wife and I have other things more important to think about so she'll stay put for now because it's safe and she likes her position and bits, but the end is not far.

Sometimes, good things come to an end, and that's perfectly fine.

Going to take a break from posting for a while, already had a go at one member today, sorry andrew8200m.

Seems I may have a neurological condition, which in time would lead to constant, severe pain in my feet, making walking difficult. Not the worst thing and not life threatening but, a very unsettling prospect. As a result I am very grumpy at the moment.

Went for blood tests this morning and, will see a doctor in 14 days. Hopefully will then have more clarity. In the meantime, best I don't post while I am like a bear with a sore head.

Understandably. Fingers crossed for good news, or failing that a medical breakthrough. (Or failing that, The Good Drugs.)

Good luck @Mr_Mistoffelees , nothing good seems to come with age.

Grumpiness is a more than acceptable response.

That doesn't sound good, sorry to hear it. Hopefully you get good news once the tests come back.

Don’t blame you, does you good to disconnect when you’ve got bigger things to worry about.

Hope all goes well for you.

Soon to become homeless due to failed relationship
Not long after my Op, other medical problems and becoming part-retired, this takes the biscuit
Due to tenancy agreement, even if I leave I still have to pay 50% rent, meaning I can't find another place as it is expensive as it is
Also being a white male in employment (partial employment) I am not in a priority housing need

Failed relationship or not, if you've got pay 50% of the rent, I'd be staying put. Your name is on the tenancy agreement, you've just as much legal right to live there. If the Ex doesn't want that, then they can pony up your 50%, move out themselves or come to some sort of agreement where you live there, separate rooms or something, until you can find somewhere to live, then they take over your % of the rent.

You have legal rights, don't be pushed out.

I am aware, but things will start to get problematic here
Also 3-bed house with all rooms taken

Already contacted local council for housing register and current landlord about removing me form the tenancy, but looks like a private rent is the only way, now all I need to do is offload a crap ton of stuff so get some money
Sucks to live in the Oxfordshire area, cause private rent is not far behind London rents ****'ing expensive

    :(

Definitely press on the landlord the situation and hopefully they’re not totally devoid of compassion. Shitty situation and I wish you the best.

Learnt this morning that when I got absolutely hammered while out with work last Friday, I behaved "inappropriately" with a couple of female staff, nothing so severe that they wanted anything formal doing, but enough that they wanted something to be said. Absolutely mortified. Full on please ground open and swallow me up levels of shame. I can't remember anything past 7 o'clock, the only flirtation I remember is with a gay guy who was giving out free samples of some minty nicotine wads that you use like chewing baccy. I only remember making a couple of comments that I then thought could be taken cringingly and immediately apologising if any offense was taken and no ulterior motive was meant, cautious that I can be a total flirt when drunk. I don't think I should drink outside the home anymore. Definitely not in a social scene.

You could always drink less, or leave earlier instead

This is why I drink less with work and I certainly do my usual disappearing act early, and seeing as I now work with HR I certainly have to be way more behaved that I did with sales were "having the crack" is way more tollerated
