I did I, but it made sense to switch the GHR and pay for 'premium' to ditch the adverts when I stopped listening to the BBC

I’d rather sit in silence than listen to the radio. Radio edits, the incessant noise from the hosts, the bombardment of adverts.. Nah, this is why I pirate stuff.

because what life gives with one hand it punches you in the balls with the other, my phone is currently somewhere in the irish sea. just when i actually really need it for actual phone calls. my primary email is suspicious of me logging in from an unusual source, so offers me 4 verification methods; get a push notification on my phone, scan a qr code to verify on my phone, get a text message on my phone, or a whatsapp message which requires.... you guessed it, my phone

    ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

Paddling down croyde beach in north Devon, Mrs crap says to me "see how far you can go in". I take that as a challenge, empty my shorts pockets into her bag, pass her my tshirt and hat and go wading in. I get about balls deep and I see 2 quite large waves heading my way, I then remember the sign on the way onto the beach "caution: very strong currents today. Please stay inside the flags while in the water" and the flags and lifeguards are *checks over shoulder* Buckingham miles away. I quickly retreat and we carry on wading down the shore about shin to knee high. Mrs crap informs me she only meant knee high, making her challenge somewhat pointless as I was basically there anyway.

We get to the end of the beach and go to get icecreams, I go to retrieve my phone from the bag, the phone is no longer in the bag. Joy ensues.

Edit: apparently it's classed as the Bristol channel, but that sounds no where near as dramatic and catastrophic as Irish sea. Possibly more Atlantic ocean than Irish sea.
