Oh my ****ing god how is the NHS this ****ing ****! I have to email the Devon Trust to get them to send my GP the scan images, because of course they don't all have access to each others data even though I have an NHS number consistent throughout the land.

Managed to get through to the right people eventually and discharge papers sent to my GP, but they won't just send them my CT scan images, because "that's not their protocol", even though I'm not asking for them to be sent to me, just within the nhs. Devon Trust says the GP will have to reply and request the images if they want them. :duh:

GP reviews them, says there's no CT report in the discharge papers, so they'll get back to them to request. Couple of weeks go by, see the nurse again to have a wound check, she says they've still not heard back from Devon Trust. They were pretty speedy in getting back to me before so I reply to them saying there was allegedly no CT report in the discharge paperwork and not heard back from them, so if could forward or just sort this that'd be great. Less than 24 hours later north Devon get back to me to say they've not heard anything back from GP, so they've emailed them the discharge paper again and told them what page they need to look at for the CT report..... :eyebrow:

Now the doc who got back to me to say there was no CT report is the same one who kept telling me my hernia op was fine and missed the whole "forgot to put mesh in and gave you nerve damage" thing. I my GP surgery, they claim they have emailed them back, but they'll get the GP to review the discharge again.

I have a hole in my brain that I'm not sure how it got there, or where it is even, and these ****s can't get it together and just get a ****ing scan sent to each other. I might as well just get Mrs crap to clobber me with a frying pan just to get back into a&e and have it looked at properly, cause the GP won't. In ****ing sane

So, I request that they send medical records to my registered GP practice, at an official NHS email address, but they won't send it to them. But they will send it to a personal email address, which is obviously far far safer......
    :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

EDIT: So I had replied to that essentially saying "for the love of god just send my GP the images", which also had my GP copied in. The GP then call me and tell me that they've already been able to get the images, so they don't know why they're now saying that, and not to bother going back and forth as they should now have everything they need.

Genuinely baffled, infuriated, all that not so good stuff. :duh::sigh:

If it wasn't a post by you, I'd have said this looked like a scam due to the way it had been written.

Do people not go to fkg school any more?

I find it amazing, baffling, and somewhat demotivating to see how little different sections of what is presumably the same organisation interact and communicate with each other. The NHS is infamous for it, as we have seen, but another was Nottingham City Council.

My wife was issued a blue disabled badge due to her various goings on and we took a trip into town taking full advantage of the badge to drive down Friar Lane and around the corner to Angel Row where we parked up, displayed the badge and went to get something to eat. We then got a fine issued for driving down Friar Lane which is restricted access to busses, taxis, and........ blue badge holders. Now the car is registered in my wife's name so she gets the fine letter from Nottingham City Council... the exact same Nottingham City Council who issued her with a blue badge.....

We had to jump though all sorts of hoops and prove that she had a blue badge for the fine to be cancelled. The fine and the badge was issued by what should be the same "organisation".... Different derpartments (yes, spelled correctly for this purpose) I guess...

No, apologies, dude - I meant the bit in black with white text that I assumed was from them. If it wasn't then I'll remove and apologise again!

I get similar from people I deal with a lot, you see. Normally my kid's school.

Okie so I went to get x-rays on Tuesday as I've had on going back issues, but when my legs gave way on Monday and the pins in needles was in both arms and legs, I went to a&E yesterday as it got I couldn't walk without a really bad twich in my back, they took X rays ect and they sent them to my doctors as they called me to prescribe my pain killers, as due to other medication I have to be careful what I take, I've even had a random physio call me today to arrange to go see them to see if they can help

Is this a your Hospital thing or something, I only ask as the physio guy I didn't even know was going to call me, and my GP made a thing about my X rays saying they can see the lower part of my back is inflamed and I might need a MRI which they can feck off about.

The NHS just seams to make life harder for it's patients.

Side note I can now feel my arms again. Still mild pins n needles in my legs and I'm on some pain killers that make me space the hell out. I started to watch Red Dwarf last night and I was apparently laughing at it and it was paused :worried:

Damn man, that sounds awful. Hope you get it sorted asap.

This is partly my GP surgery, who are either amazing or inept, nothing in-between. Then there's all the different NHS trusts acting like they all aren't in this together, as the hospital was in Devon but my GP is part of the Dudley trust. It's probably engineered that way so the system is so broken and inefficient they have to send a load of business to private doctors

random rant but I gotta get **** out

the old lady's cancer shenanigans is taking it out of me, between managing her, dr's, surgeons and an narcissistic old man that's overbearing and demanding I've been feeling mentally fatigued, this heat is also royally ****ing me off to near violent levels and making me unable to sleep meaning I feel like I'm flying closer to the sun than usual, yesterday's dead body job didn't help either so I end of shift today with no sleep and stressed out to **** i came home and had a ****ing royal angry crash out before passing out from exhaustion, think I was out for a few hours before I woke up on the sofa caked in sweat and feeling ****ing miserable, think i might give mcmillan a call tomorrow and just spill it

100% this. It has been my experience with organisations like this that no matter how specific you might think your individual situation might be, they've seen and heard it before so many times to the point where they almost have it rehearsed as to what to say and do to get things sorted out as much as they are able to, or at the very least offer a very understanding ear.

All thise charitable health organisations are great. Nine years ago my mental health went a long way downhill following problems with benefits. Mind and actually, our district council, were very helpful.

This is why I help run a small mental health charity in Australia. I like to think we do our little bit.

Back to pleb, you're getting signed off on the sick... now... what do you want?

    or

You're fat and lazy, now why are you here?

And people wonder i just suck it up as best i can and don't bother even trying to get the quack's attention any more...

There's a whole bunch of stuff you can get through blue light/the federation. Check through all that see if there's any support, counseling etc.

Aaaaaand we're back. The cyst is 18x8x6mm, 6 times larger than the average gland itself. :eeek:
So no wonder I've had the problems I have jad.[IMG]
Right inferior frontal encephalomalacia - loss of brain tissue. Unsure at this point if related to the cyst, or repeated head tramas.

Oh and there's apparently there was some debris in my head wound, and there is a small lump on the top side of the cut near the front, so I have that pushing it's way out to look forward to.

Apparently their is a limitless concrete lorry trying to fill my soul with poo. Had to send my monitor off for a warranty repair after the usbc pass-through stopped charging my laptop. Hadn't heard anything back in a month and it's getting really tiresome working off my itchy laptop screen, so emailed them this evening for an update. In response I got an automated email advising the company had gone into administration.

No idea if I'll ever get it back, and then it's still gonna be broken and sent elsewhere for repair. Currently awaiting response from Philips, hoping they just send me a replacement, or I'm gonna have to buy a new one to get me by.

Not all of us are. Chances are the person you're referring to is either highly insecure or confessing there

I've been called toxic but that's due to me not ignoring my own limits and boundaries. Also me rejecting any and all arbitrary rules made by others is apparently toxic
