I did try and book a gp appointment but my gp surgery has elected to make that functionally impossible... so I gave up.

 

I just had the inside door glass in my washing machine voilently shatter as I was doing a drying cycle! -_- Thankfully still within the 2 year john lewis warrenty!

taken some anti-histamines... should be fine... but i do not feel great

 

I am using the heating.

 

This would grind my gears too. We’ve got the windows fully shut but still using fans to cool down for now. How much longer that will be the case I’m unsure of!

 

We've had it on for two hours over the past few days.

Hopefully the house move goes through in the next few weeks as we still have oil we bought before Trump went loco in Iran to last.

 

Had a brilliant landlady last 19 years, but she's selling up because of these ridiculous rental hoops they have to jump through now. She hasn't put our rent up since the day we moved in.

We look after the house, don't bother her for minor repairs as we do them ourselves and she always says send the bill but we don't.

There are no properties for us to go to because Cumbria has taken a massive amount money from the government to house refugees in bulk and there are over 1000 properties taken off the lists.

We have also been told despite being band A status, we are below people from outside the area who need social housing.

The 'local' housing associations were merged with Manchester and take over an hour to get response on the phone and a week or more via email.

My partner is 67, born and bred in this town, all her family born here, her deceased parents, older relatives and her own children, we take grand children to school every day, she is registered disabled and the only place we could 'bid' on was 40 miles away and there 96 in the 'queue'.

There are 20-odd properties alone on the estate over from us that have been empty for up to 18 months.

On top of that another 4278 still empty...

MP don't give a ****, the police commissioner is a liar, an absolute chancer who I have shown up on more than one occasion by proving he was lying and invited him to sue me for anything that I have said about him is false.

He refused.

Plenty of holiday homes to rent though.

This country is ****ed... and I will be branded 'far-right', despite my family being bombed out in the blitz, several of my great uncles were killed fighting the very far right that has allowed the people in this country to tell me I'm far-right.

I'm not anything. I'm middle of the road but because I don't agree with the left and I'm not far-right, who do I vote for ?

I am not here for a debate, and I quite frankly don't give a toss what people think of me, but if they think the situation we are in, well my partner really, think this is OK and unrelated to all this uncontrolled immigration then you need your bumps felt.

So clocks ticking.
