    Well I just got the duplicate title..... good news right?

    Or not.... as it shows that there is still a lien on the car (which it doesn't have, and hasn't since we bought it). Now I have to wait another 3-5 days to get the lien release in from the bank that originally financed it....

    The universe seems to be conspiring against me right now....

    eh, I wouldn't have any of these problems if the DMV had sent out the new title when we bought the frigging thing 4 years ago, then we could have dealt with the lien then and I would have had my car last Wednesday :duh:

    Im going on holiday next week

    I also have exams that week meaning day 1 i cant leave till 3.30pm atleast no biggy i never did like sitting and waiting for the keys in skyline (guess the place for a free cookie)

    secondly i have to come back at 11ish on day 2 for 2pm to then leave again 4pm BARGRHDH

    that means i only have two full days there as the last day everyone always wants to leave early....

    What makes it worse is because of stupid teachers i am 100% unprepared for the exams

    Time for a bit of introspective thinking? It's all right man, it'll soon pass, just find something to occupy your mind with. Hell just spend some time with someone and things will look more...acceptable if you will.

    As for me, I have some terrible sleeping patterns and I hate not doing something when I want to but I do everything to avoid doing the thing I want to do.

    The ***ing price of motor spares in this ***thole of a country where everyone is trying to make a quick effing buck.
    Missus's car's (VW Golf Mk2 1.6L 8v) starter motor is broken.
    Replacement price: ~100GBP.
    Refurb price: ~80GBP.
    FAIR price (normal price off a shop that offers VW replacement parts (genuine ones at that), but can't get stock of that starter engine? ~50GBP
    VW Dealership price (i kid you not): ~250GBP.

    Core financial systems that don't have indexing maintenance tasks set up on their DB...
    the consequence? 99% fragmentation on their (for example) invoices table... and people wonder why other SQL jobs take for bloody ever...
