Once and if you hit 40, I would see the emergency room - 41c is the danger limit for when the body starts taking serious damage. Other than that, if the fever continues for a day or two more, go see your local practitioner and get his evaluation of it.

Here's a day in my life... Yesterday in school, everybody was doing BADLY at History, and I was doing average. The teacher decided to send a note to all parents noticing them that every class and a half there will be an oral test. That note went to everyone, even me, who was doing average. As soon as my mom read that note, she nearly went apesh*t insane and nearly lost internet for a month. That note was meant for those who were doing badly, not for me and a few others, but due to 90% of the people doing badly, it was faster to send it to everyone.

This, in turn, reinforces my "kill or be killed" theory. If that was nearly enough to break her (as if she wasn't broken from the start), when she hears about me repeating the year...do the math.

    She won't be missed.

Well, Mankz, I do know what it's like. The pain won't last forever, just remind yourself of that, and take good drugs. They're there for things like that, you know.

    God damn rain.

I think 'Oooo, look at this blue sky and sunshine, I'll go out for a ride in a bit!'.

    Five minutes later... *RAIN*

Yeah it hasn't been quite as high today (39,4) but I really do feel like **** and am gonna call the nearby clinic the first thing tomorrow morning. I also have the emergency number handy in case I wake up at the middle of the night and thing I'm a banana or something. Really the worst thing is that the room temperature is at steady 30 C, so I just can't cool down..

STS-135 (launched 11:29EDT) marks the final mission for the Space Shuttle without any tangible replacement program. I feel much the same way about this as I did about Concorde.

C'mon humanity, we can do better than this.

    What's the prognosis?

Not sure, didn't chat that much to him about it, but it's cancer of the blood, so I'm guessing that's never good. I'm assuming he's undergoing Chemo atm though.

I have a white bike though, the slightest sniff of water and it looks like crap. Makes me sad, and because it keeps on raining I can't wash it after :(

@mbm Hope your friend can catch out that cancer early, crap stuff happens to the best of people.

In all the rush to get home today, I missed two meals. I also packed and unpacked the car a few times. Today I have:

required codeine cough syrup to stop coughing from pleurisy
required my rescue inhaler (also for inflammation, not asthma)
had two seizures (blood sugar related)
had my piece of pizza laid upon by the cat and stolen by the dog

And now I have an eternal hellbitch of a headache. And the codeine is running low.

No where near as bad as anyone else here - but got knocked over by a chav on a bike while I was walking round a corner on the pavement. Nothing broken, I just sting a lot - meant to be shooting a show this evening though which usually requires a lot of moving and kneeling... my knees are still bleeding - not good!

    Where to start?

Work keeps firing people for absolutely BS reasons and I'm forced to pick up the hours. This wouldn't be a problem if I weren't a producer/engineer with deadlines and clients. Gotta keep this crap job as audio work isn't very frequent.

Realizing that they're taking advantage of me. Minimum wage to do pc repair and sales. Minimum wage for skilled labor :( But there aren't any other jobs around so I guess I'll take what I can get.

Car is dead and none of my "friends" want to take me to work until I can find a new car. For whatever reason I can't find a used car around here with monthly payments less than $200 USD (I only make $140 a week and that's working 30-40 hours).

Same group of "friends" planning a canoe trip, movie trip, and a trip to the coastline (live in Ohio) all in the same weekend and no one told me. One of the guys called off to go on the trip and I have to cover him.

My girlfriend is out of town at an anime con so there literally is no one around for the next 4 days for me to talk to or see.

And to top it all off these stupid kittens my parents dropped off for us to take care of have been scratching the ever loving crap out of my entire body.

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
