Seems my predicament is both better and worse than I first thought. The work isn't actually that hard, i just can't remember most of what's supposed to go into it. Northampton College is kind enough to have revoked my password for the online system, too. so I can't dig through the resources they usually offer up online. Fun.

Next time anyone suggests "Let's use a fourteen day timeout with a requirement for SEVEN unique passwords on this system!" I'm going to bitch-slap them to death.

EDIT: Oh bollocks. Seems I was due back at College last Wednesday. Oops. I really should double-check the dates they give me in future.

Double-edit: It looks like I may have managed to poison my cup of tea at this rate. I feel terrible.

Things aren't going well for me at the moment.

 

Still no PhD funding in sight, fees due in a week.

Looks like I might have to sell my car to help things here a little.

3 cold this autumn/winter (I generally never get sick).

Friend-zoned again (4th in a year).

Sisters boyfriends father died on New Years after a critically late prognosis of terminal cancer (was given 1-3 weeks to live).

Said boyfriend went in for emergency surgery for his appendix yesterday, so sister is a bag of bones and nerves at the moment and I'm generally ready to put my fist through someones face for looking in my general direction.

Having a customer collapse at work and then having every effort to keep them alive fail despite getting them back for a minute or so. I'm sorry we couldn't do more.

The staff changes posted today have got a somewhat mixed opinion from me. I can't say I had the best experience with the current staff (see page 5 of the changes thread for that) but it doesn't look like it's going to get better.

knowing that I'm stuck in our customer/service/support department at work, and I've been here for 3 years, and still got 2 more years before I'm done as a Data technician.. I really want to develop things in our develop department!

 

Apparently my mother's definition of being a nice kid is studying my brains out. That's it. Nothing else.

Not studying implies having a mental instability and I MUST be sent to a psychologist. She now wants to send me to a psychiatrist.

Also, she says that if I repeat a year I'll be in school until 30 because she believes I'll be the same for...well, do the math, I'm too lazy. Note that I have never repeated a single year in my life, apparently she wants perfection.

I sometimes wonder how the hell she managed to stay alive past 20, I also wonder how many times my grandparents have beaten her to a pulp with a lead pipe.

Someone had the genius idea to try and guess the pin code on my mobile, locked it, attempted to act innocent.

Now I've got the joy of Tesco Mobile's helpline service that either outright ignores you when you tell it the number, or tells you to speak up when you're already f#cking shouting into the phone in attempts to tell it the f#cking mobile number so you can get the PUK code. (It claims it can't understand you if you try typing it into the phone, too.)

God. F#cking. Dammit.

Attempt 10 just rolled by. This is just f#cking ridiculous now.

And then after five minutes of hold and MORE bloody phone choice systems; I get it unlocked. That was far too difficult for such a simple task.

 

Keep trying dude, you'll find something that suits you eventually!

My GF is bringing me down at the moment, I think we're both beginning to realise that this relationship isn't really working. Time will tell.

 

The arguments with my mother keep getting more and more violent. It's as if I'm talking to a wall, although a wall wouldn't interrupt me as soon as I start speaking.

Since last year I was thinking how much I'd be able to wait until it reaches a critical point, I was guessing December 2011, well I guess I wasn't so far off. It will be a GOD DAMN MIRACLE if I manage to get past this month.

I don't know what will happen from now on, but I'm fairly certain it will change the way I live forever. I cannot calculate when exactly this "Event" that will change my life will happen, so any post that I make might be the last.

This "Event" almost happened 3 minutes ago.
