got flashed by a speed camera on the way to college, my fault obviously no excuse

Ughhh please i hope theres no film in it

Unless anything has changed since 2008, probably not. I was flashed by one in a roadworks zone outside Manchester on my way to an iSeries in 2008, and nothing ever came of it... There must not have been film in the thing. Of course, four years is a long time and there's every possibility that most of them are digital now.

I did that the other day, and once I'd finished sweeping it all up and put it into the bin the f***ing bin bag fell over.

 

Sounds like you need to slow the **** down.

That said, I hate what speed cameras stand for. A hard limit on the speeds on the road only superficially tackles dangerous driving.

 

I hear still 1 out of 7 have no film from what i hear that particular one does'nt work.... i could be wrong and we'll see what happens

Clearly i was'nt doubling the limit or anything it was poor judgement on my part it was around 35 in a 30

Still im not going to make excuses for it i was speeding and thats that

My neck is absolutely killing me today. Up until today, it was my hands and wrists> Now they're fine and I can barely move my head. I'm taking some painkillers and going to bed when I get home

 

for my interview i have to provide two references... which is going to be problematic as my uni outright refuses to give them and the people i knew from college that would have given one are no longer there...

 

For some reason this is the funniest thing I've heard all day. +rep

 

What sort of ridiculous University refuses to give references? My lecturers have written references for me on a couple of occasions in the past.

 

mine it would seem... lost out on more than one job because the uni wouldn't provide a reference... 'uni policy' apparently...

 

could be bad fuse or signal switch?

My job ruining my life, finally had enough and now I have a meeting with management about the situation.

 

"You want to go out tonight?", "Yeah sure", "Cool, Tom's organising everyone atm"..

3 hours later...

"So what's the plan?", "Erm, I dunno, whatever really"

I'll start picking what film to watch now then :/

 

Do you not have any previous employment at all? If not have you considered voluntary work to get said references?

 

I never trusst anyone named tom to organize stuff he is ****ing useless...




my friends are like this though... you get into the film have a few beers and your comfy and then they decide to ring you again ready to do something..

 

People placing the thought into my head that I may have to ditch this rig and rebuild, now is possibly the worst time, College is coming to a close, i'm about to start driving lessons, and I've absolutely no money. Selling off my current PC wouldn't net much, considering the only parts I'd have to sell are the motherboard, which may or may not be broken, and the processor, which is an FX 8120, Ie; Ebay price of £100 if i'm lucky. So I'm shafted if anything else goes wrong.

Thankfully; It's solid as a rock with a single GPU, I just can't chuck my other 550 in there for the minute.
