Speeding fine turned up the whole episode is fine i've learnt my lesson and im paying the fine all is well...

The only problem is my parents when i told them i got flashed by a camera they gave me the speech for about 15 minutes everyday just to be parents.

Now that its turned up there going to have to do the same thing again just because they feel its necessary not because there worried about my safety.

I mean i was speeding it was stupid but i was'nt driving 90 down a 30, my head out the sun roof screaming the lyrics to bon jovi songs while off my nut on amphetamines and black tar heroin.... swinging a baby from a dog chain and shooting postmen with a mini gun stuck to the top of the car..

Now what was i talking about again...

QFT! Any idiot should know that if you double the RAM the computer is twice as heavy and therefore twice as slow! Hope your colleague has been feeling the hard end of your knuckles :wallbash:

Non paying ebayers, I'm down £400 thanks to some unscrupulous timewaster and my new monitor is stuck at customs, no contact and no way of getting hold of anyone at parcelforce that knows their arse from their elbow.

    Grrr...

Finally finished exams... except now I have nothing to do.

I really want to do something productive but I have no projects to spend my time on.

Today is just too damn hot. There is a limit to what I can take, and this is past it. I shouldn't feel the need to grab ice-packs out of the freezer and sit on them just to try and cool down!

I know what you mean, I don't do hot either.

I was talking to a client in Dammam, Saudi Arabia the other day and he said it was 44 degrees and that they were in the middle of a sand storm. That means it won't cool down much at night if it carried on. A colleague of mine in Riyadh has just told me that it is currently 37 there and that they can't live without air conditioning... No &$@#

Makes our 25 seem almost chilly... almost

And here I'm the opposite! So much to do and so little time :/ Also, it's been sunny all day and I've barely been out in it. That's about to change though, I'm about to go and thoroughly wash the car :thumb:

Thanks guys, my wife and I are still going to keep trying. Given the actual results I had the chances are basically none but we can still hope. :)

Mind you it never rains but it pours though, our shower has leaked water down through our hall ceiling (bath is above the hall). It was fine for 15 months (after I fixed it) and chooses now of all times to play up..... :wallbash: Just waiting to the third thing now... :sigh:

arrrhhhhh my xfx be 5970, i don't think it has ever worked correctly, now i hope after spending yet another day trying to get it to work correctly, they'll take it back and give me something that works.

That and IDS's smart comments how i shouldn't have anything more complicated graphics wise (no understanding of my graphical needs what's new) and a usb pen drive that i never want to pull out again and don't even go there.

New pillow time? You could have a mouth full of dead skin and dust mite crap if your pillow is getting on a bit.

IACV in my focus is going to poop again, random cut outs when the revs drop rolling up to junctions, very scary and very dangerous. Air Con seems to be the the extra strain causing the cut out. It was completely cleaned about 2 years ago and has been fine since, but now I think it needs replacing.

This has meant my girlfriend and I have had to cancel our weekend plans which we were both looking forward to.

My boss called me earlier and asked if I could come in for "an hour" tomorrow to fix an issue which isn't even an issue. Apparently a dropdown nav menu doesn't work in IE 8 for the client. It does! I cannot replicate the issue on any machine natively running IE 7 or 8, whether it be on XP, Vista or 7 or any of those in virtual machines on both my home machine and my work machine.

Seem to be putting on weight and not sure what I want to do about it.
Used to enjoy cycling, but more recently I really can't be bothered. My sports playing has died away to nothing (although that's something that'll get sorted over the summer, and will change at uni when I come back in the Autumn.

Thinking of getting an exercise bike since I watch a good couple of hours of TV/Film a day, and so I thought might aswell be working up a sweat while I'm doing it
