Seriously? I thoroughly enjoyed Most Wanted why must they thoroughly ruin things!?

 

I am one of the hosts for a TEDx talk next year - kind of cool - so I am busy making a website, but have to abide by a 150 page guide book on what cannot be done! To be fair the web stuff is only like 20 pages but you are only allowed to use a solid white or solid black background for the logo! So I need to fit the logo with a solid white background onto another website which is slightly off white... BLAH!

Many good memories with that game. There's something about NFS games that changes my tastes in cars to suddenly require everything to be lowered to the ground with wide body kits, massive spoilers and neon colored paint. Most Wanted makes this even better by letting me crash through roadblocks in these contraptions!

It also had quite a nice open world. Mainly the freeway was well designed, in a good chase game you're going to eventually end up on the widest, longest stretch of road available so it's great that they seem to have given it some attention.

 

Place the logo in the center of a div which has x pixel padding then give the div a background of an off white to white fade? Probably not the best looking solution but rather easy.

 

Exactly. I saw the trailer and just went "Oh sh-, EA; WHY U RUIN THINGS?!"

The game just looks like a Reskinned Burnout Paradise.

 

We have this horrible tenant. He use to work for us when we said we don't need him anymore he turned into a freaking nightmare doesn't pay rent, doesn't pay bills, Telling other tenants not to pay / steal rent checks.

Kick him out right? Yeah it takes about 9 months to legally kick a tenant out. Have to go though courts, cost allot of money, fml

 

Isn't it possible just to serve him with a demand for the money? Surely you can then set bailiffs after him if it's not responded to?

 

i have 40 mins till IDS gets here, i need a shower and i resemble cousin itt, so no shower, but diablo is calling.

 

Sitting here while doctors have a powwow about if my chest can be repaired. They definitely want to try, they're just unsure of what surgery to do.

 

Thinking about exams and realising where you went wrong minutes after leaving the hall....

My HDD died last night... I don't do backups.

I don't know if the data is actually lost (hell im not sure if the drive is even fubar'd, could just be a corrupt windows file). The drive still shows up in the BIOS and it makes half an attempt to boot, sometimes getting as far as the "Starting Windows" screen before locking up, so im hoping when my 120GB Corsair Force 3 and 1TB replacement drives come I can reinstall the OS and pull the important data from it before burning it and offering it to the silicon gods...

 

Do the freezer trick. Wrap the dead HDD in plastic to protect it from moisture and pop in the fridge or freezer to chill. Give it a few hours. Boot from cold (literally); if it works back up all your vital data like you have never backed up before.

Then invest in a NAS.

 

Just to pre-empt. Boundaries: they exist for a reason. Please don't overshare, mmmmokay?

Never mind, found it.

 

It looks like if I purchase Absolution from Steam, I can't play Sniper Challenge for a month, while everyone else can. Is that correct, or do I have this wrong somehow?

 

I think i'm addicted to caffeine. May need to do a Soft-drink and Coffee Detox.

 

Well, they have determined that it's not a collapsing ribcage that I'm suffering from. So no Nuss procedure or anything like that.

My heart and kidneys are failing. Fast. And I will probably need open heart surgery and dialysis soon.

That's just what I needed, how about you?
