Still struggling to find work in my local area, seriously thinking about applying to placements in London and comuting.

You have to learn to live with them, i think i pissed one off at work the other day she continued to preach to me the powers of her new toy, all i wanted to do was read the paper.

"What do you use if for then?"

"... Texting and ringing people"

"What about apps?"

"I use it as an mp3 player aswell"

Certainly not ruining my life!

But past expiriences tells me it makes more sense to start it here

 

I couldn't find any work in my area (aside from the odd retail job) so I applied for jobs in London, whilst not ideal it at least allows me to get by as I find jobs in London are slightly higher paid due to the high cost of living. I'm putting aside some money each month the the hope of eventually moving to London and removing the upfront cost of travel.

 

Why did you buy the annual ticket instead of monthly?

 

It works out £577.60 cheaper in the long run. Work give me an interest free loan for the season ticket so it's better for me on a monthly basis as less is subtracted from my pay check (£316.67 as opposed to £364.80)

 

This week my car has been aiming to destroy the bank balance... Looking at cams and a remap.

So that will be me ruining my life then

 

Stupid Virgin V+ HD box and it's crappy storage space and its inability to transfer recordings to a stick or PC.

 

That's an awesome scheme, I wish that my company would support that!

IIRC there is a tax benefit for the employer to assist them in doing this

 

How FKING stupid are you allowed to be as an electrician? Had to spent another 1,5 hours on top of my 8 hour shift because the dung-head who wired the alarm for the huge walk-in freezer in the store I work at found it intelligent to wire the alarm to the same circuit as the freezer. Power to freezer goes, power to alarm goes which means noone called anyone when the freezer died this morning, and I haven't had to use it all day. There's a reason that guy's an electrician and not a nuclear physicist.

 

Google Checkout. Simply cannot get it to integrate with my shop at all well... spent this last week on it before giving my screen the finger and disabling it for now.

 

Lost a ship (model) my grandfather built, the last one he built before a massive stroke and the last succesful build before he died, which he always said was to be mine.

I'm actually going to tear the ************ that binned it limb from limb.
