Other What's ruining your life right now?

Story of my life at work recently. A construction project I was involved in hit some big problems for reasons that had little to do with my involvement, but since it touched my hands last my name is on it. Thankfully, I have a great boss who is ready to enter any and all shouting matches on my behalf. Just a matter of making sure he's copied into everything I do or say and no undue blame is thrown around and the correct people go off doing the work that was asked of me!

 

My son has infected me with ... the damn plague!

And now I'm at work whilst being unable to breathe without sounding like a beached whale, and without the ability to make myself heard over the telephone.

And on top of that I just lost a filling from an old cavity, so I'll have to go to the dentist today to have it fixed. Hopefully I'll infect that damn sadist with the plague as well - poetic justice and all.

Tipping it down with rain here so couldn't even take my daughter for a final walk (for a few weeks/month at least) around the park.

This is teh big sux.

I'm stuck with my 7950GT until Big_malc's GTX 570 arrives Unless it's just me, my PC feels a lot slower around Windows and generally browsing the web than it did with the 470...

Here I was, just on the mend from fighting off the plague that my son infected me with, and getting good and ready to work at my project again for the first time in nearly a week. But no. Yesterday I seriously screwed up my back whilst ... making the beast with two backs with the missus! What the hell? It's not too bad though; it's worst when I breathe! So today I'm getting an appointment to see my doctor.

 

My heart does go to you, when ones child is ill you feel so helpless.

I just completed my last day in the temp job I have had for the past two months. Gutted but looking for new horizons.

A few weeks ago I told a friend something that I thought I could trust him not to tell anyone else.

I found out today that he's got a big mouth and now what feels like half of Cheltenham knows my little secret.

I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut from now on

 

I am sure they have changed the taste of tetley decaf tea bags, they have a more tea flavour and i don't like it.
