I haven't a single damn clue what BT has done, but they've broken something.

Those stats are since last reboot, which is just shy of ten minutes before that image was taken. And I've clocked up close to a million FEC errors. What the actual ****, BT?

The icing on the cake seems to be that the DNS resolution on this homehub is screwed, too, so I have to use another DNS to get online - flaw with that plan is that I can't access the Homehub's settings without having to unset the DNS.

I think your errors are to do with the low noise margin, Tundra. I used a BT 2700HGV "Business Hub" for a couple of weeks and although it managed to get my speeds right up, it dropped the noise margin to below 3 dB so I was racking up thousands of errors in a 5 minute period and it took multiple refreshes of a website to get it to load.

Have BT increased the speed or is there noticeable noise on the phone line?

Oh, and I had DNS issues too but my problem was I couldn't connect to network shares without Windows prompting for a username and password that I never setup... I could occasionally connect if I put the PC's IP address in rather than it's name but it was very unreliable.

BT have just gone around just about all of Daventry fitting Fibre Optics (At least as far as the Cabinets.) - We're upgrading to Infinity on Wednesday, but if these connection issues persist; it'll be null and void, I can barely get a consistent SpeedTest anywhere near the 12Mb we're meant to be receiving here, and I've noticeable jumps in ping times during games, to the point where I'll rubber-band in anything that demands a fast connection.

Can BT adjust the target SNR from their end?

Tiredness and people being astronomical dicks.

To make it even better, I have to work with them again tomorrow all while my boss is verifying my ability to manage them.

I haven't a clue. I'm not going to complain yet, not less than 48 hours before I'm due to change to BT Infinity, but if the problems persist afterwards; I'll raise hell to get this issue solved.

my router keeps throttling my connection for no bloody reason, having a 37mb connection choked to 6 is annoying.

fixable by a router reboot but ARGH!

Seperate quote to just fit a screen £100.. = £618

Just took 20 pictures as a tutorial on how to rewire a pair of M-Audio Q40 Studiophile headphones. When connecting my camera to the computer it just says "You need to format drive H: before using it"

    -.-'
