Other What's ruining your life right now?

My wife had her gall bladder out years ago and aside from the scarring (had it done under an old method not used any more except in dire emergencies) she has been fine. She just has to watch how much fat she eats but that's about it.

 

Gumtree removing my ads before they even go live with no explanation. Looking at their Facebook and Twitter pages, it seems I'm not alone. Still a PITA though as I wanted to get this lot shifted ASAP...

 

By being a complete and utter knob I have managed to strip the pedal threads on my FSA crank. ****.

 

Had mine pulled a couple of years ago using keyhole surgery.
I now have 4 small scars about 5-10mm long, 1 each side of my abdomen, 1 just below my sternum and one in my navel.
(+1 on the low-fat diet)

 

Her scar is about 12" long and an inch wide with other ones at about 1" intervals where the stitches went. We think the surgeon was wearing boxing gloves during the procedure...

 

So I'm at work, walking round the restaurant doing the checks I need to before I take over the shift, and I'm walking round the dining area and I see my Mrs, go over to say hi and see her with another guy.. not an issue until I see her hand on his leg, which is quickly withdrawn when she sees it's me..

Trying not to make assumptions, but having seen that and the fact I'm working with her until 9 doesn't make me feel any easier about it tbh..

Have it out with her it could be completely innocent and just unfortunate circumstance

Its better out than in, or else it will eat away at you and any small contact on stuff like facebook will just make you more and more suspicious

 

I hope it is, I can't bring it up until after midnight as I would be in for a world of pain if my boss found out I was having personal talks while in work..

Just have to find the balls to talk to her sometime soon.. I don't do good with feelings..

Do not do it tonight. Both of you will be tired and the risk of an anger controlled fight will be much larger. Confront her tomorrow when both of you are well rested. Or, well, don't inquire. Ask, nicely.

 

Wish they'd go ahead and do my son's immunizations so we can go home. Everything else is ready, we're packed and everything-and we've been waiting over two hours now.

 

I have burned through my monthly mobile data allowance (1GB) in 16 days -.-

 

Finally got that flu shot, BTW. Just now. Yay.

If it's any consolation, waiting for such a thing takes just as stupidly long as it does over here, so you're not alone.


Continuing on the medical subject, I just remembered that tomorrow is my second tri- yearly cancer check up after having surgery to initially remove it. The point is, I DON'T like letting the doctors play around with my crown jewels and wherever else they have to go...

 

The SSD in my laptop has just died again (it was only replaced 2-3 weeks ago due to the same failure).

Beginning to regret getting the M4 now and thinking I should have gone for the Samsung 830.

Have to wait and see what Crucial say now

 

The failure rate of SSDs is pissing me off. I've been through two Vertex drives now, and M4s seem to be dropping dead all over the place as well

 

How long have the M4's been running? Are they on the latest firmware?

I believe they still use keyhole surgery though the navel, how fast did you recover and was it painful after? did you have anymore attacks? and what happens when you eat too much fat? Would you feel completely fine going to the gym and lifting heavy weights?

 

Too much fat tends to result in indigestion and the runs as without a gall bladder you don't have the reserve of bile that you are used to. Bile helps enormously with the breaking down of the fats.

If you're anything like me after a evenings work you'll be tired and irritable you have to pick your words correct else it could go tits up either way.

Many times i have picked the wrong words and come off worse.

Me: I think I just blew up my graphics card; was in a frantic game of Hawken ( this will be a totally awesome game when it's released in a couple months ) when all of a sudden the screen & sound froze, then the monitor it was connected to ( set as primary ) went blank/black ( no signal ), and the PC made the 'disconnecting item' noise. Need to poke at it tomorrow as it's too late now, but it's not looking good, poor little HD5450
