Sorted out that woe about 2 months ago.

They won't put you through the grading unless they think you're ready, and even then, it's your choice. If you're not being picked up on small niggly things, there's probably nothing to pick up on, the first 3 blocks you learn are fairly straight forward. You've probably got them sorted. If you feel you're not getting it right, put more force into it, do it like you're actually blocking something with it. The power will go through the roof and will potentially make you feel like you've done it properly.

Don't force yourself to get more into it, that's what made me stop, I began to resent going. Just remember to keep at it though, heck, practice in your front room if need be, I did for about a week before each grading. Use a mirror as well, you know how the blackbelts look while doing the move, do you look similar or is there something very different?

You mentioned earlier you don't own trackies? I take it you're doing it in jeans?

Yeah, theory screwed me so often, managed to pass each one pretty much on the physical alone thankfully.

Go to Sports World (or whatever it's called) and get some loose cotton trackies. Don't ask why, just do it.

I have an interview tomorrow and I have no idea where my shirt and trousers are. Sounds odd, but I moved bed rooms a few weeks ago. With all the shifting of stuff I have lost things lol

I haven't had an interesting conversation with anyone for quite a while now. There's the idle chit chat amongst work colleagues and such, but nothing that really interests me.

It's ruining my life, i feel like im talking to idiots all the time.

I get alot of "Yeah im getting right pissed up saturday night" every week... thats about the most intresting it gets.

I completely understand that from whats known as "the kids" where i work but you get it alot from the 20+ and it just comes across as a bit desperate.

Whats ruining my life is i seem to be getting all my hours wrong :duh: i thought it was a short shift tommorow but its 4 hours longer than i wrote down :sigh:

EDIT: Just went on facebook and noticed mitch lucker of suicide silence has died aged 28 i was'nt a massive fan of the band but that such a tragedy! ughh

It is rare that 2 simple words can convey such deep despair and solicit the sort of response that can be summed up in a simple look that says "I feel your pain, my brother".

'tis a sad situation that, alas I know only too well :sigh:

Went to 3 different chemists to buy Isopropyl alcohol and they didn't have any. I then went to a computer repairs shop and told them I need cleaning fluid for removing paste off the cpu and the idiots didn't even know what I was talking about. :eyebrow: :sigh: :wallbash:

EDIT: but yeah... I went and asked my mum and she said she has some nail polish remover "without" acetone, I checked the back and it says Isopropyl Alcohol. Will it be strong enough for removing paste off cpu's do you know? There isnt a % labelled on it.

Started repainting the living room yesterday:

    1) get all my decorating stuff down from the loft to discover my roller handle is missing.
    2) I don't have enough masking tape to do the whole room ( skirting boards & door frames etc ).
    3) Buy a new roller handle today only to discover it is designed for large diameter roller heads.
    4) Bodge a new head by cutting a slit into 2 smaller diameter heads and stretching both over the roller; a bit lumpy when it rolls but it works okay.
    5) only enough paint left for 2 walls, have to order more from online since I won't have a chance to go to the store ( Trago Mills.. ) to get the correct brand and colour for weeks maybe ( not getting weekends off at the moment like I used to, weekdays instead so Dad can't drive me anywhere ).

Pain in the ass this decorating malarkey is...

If you have a Maplins near you they normally stock some. It's been a few years since I bought some from there but they definitely used to.

Antiseptic alcohol wipes are isopropyl, and work perfectly for cleaning TIM off.

Really uncomfortable moments during work, i seem to always go in half asleep lately and its resulting in me saying hundreds of really dumb things, like cringe worthy crap.

Im also getting really mixed signals from people that are making no sense, im playing it cool simply because its never worked before and im not making a fool of myself this time.

Its really hard not to make a complete dick of myself somedays though

Go to bed earlier, eat breakfast & have a nice cup of coffee or tea to wake you up in the morning*

    * I do not take my own advice but I can function at 100% with 4 hours sleep, no breakfast and only a mouthful of OJ before I head off to work, because I'm a BAMF...
