I've run out of painkillers, I swear gout is the ****ing worst thing I've ever experienced, I've gotten 4 hours sleep in 3 days and I can barely walk. :eeek: :waah:

I got the docs in a few hours, here's hoping they can give me some serious painkillers, the over the counter stuff is fairly rubbish. :eeek: :waah:

Get some cherry juice (low sugar variety) I've had gout for a few years now and swear by it.

    Yeah. I tried that.

I only managed to control mine by losing weight and controlling my diet.

    1) My iPhone 4s battery has died only being in service since October last year.....

    2) I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder and its killing my movement.

    3) Ive torn a ligament in my left calf, which is painful for my movemt since im on my feet for 12hrs a day.

    4) My trusty Casio work/everyday watch battery has died or completely died after 8yrs of use...

    5) Work has been an absoloute nightmare. Ive only been with this company for 2 months and im ready to leave (Vairous reasons). To top that off ive been working since last monday without any day off most of the days have been 11hr days. When I simply ask for when my days off are they change the inital days completely. Never have i been with a company where a Manager(Me) has to been told when my days off are on the same week hes working. The usual rule is to know a week or so before, as to plan your life outside of work. This is the most unorganised company ive worked for. Trying to stay another few months before I move to Oz.

To say ive not been having a good week has been an understatement, never has so many bad things happened at once in such a short space of time.

My relatively inexpensive but absolutely brilliant Casio snapped while I was walking across a pedestrian crossing while on holiday. I found an exact replacement for £10 on Amazon.

I was out of work for nearly 5 months when i came back from my traveling, I had high hopes. I fully understand the depression that sets in when you recieve no news or a mountain of rejection.

However as being a new person in the company I have recieved zero support as to my job and have recieved constant negitivity as to the level of work im doing. There are no redieming features for me to stay here(apart from money) and I already question this job this soon into it as my confidence was non existance when I started and its only got worse....not my fault but theirs.

The watch came back to life today with a fresh battery and overall servicing.....she lives to fight another day!

People that don't want to believe a High Voltage Powerline is dangerous (clues in the name)! I wouldn't be recommending work for fun, especially when it doesn't cost them anything!

People won't let their kids put a finger in a plug socket, but they'll let them climb a tree that's within jumping distance of 132,000V :wallbash:

Yes I have, it was set to decrease volume by 80%, but nothing changed when I set it to do nothing.

Just show them a few videos on youtube of cooking animals on power lines, and if they still aren't convinced, a few videos of cooking humans on theync.com... :worried:

Because of the job I do I have some truly horrendous pics/videos of electrical related burns/injuries/dead bodies etc. Unfortunately I am not allowed to use them on Joe public.

The best I can do is explain all the risks and get a signature from them to say I've explained everything and they understand but still wish to refuse any work.

As long as my ass is covered, it's all I can do.

No I'm a surveyor in utility arboriculture, basically I assess the dangerousness of vegetation in proximity to the overhead powerlines , arrange the work with the landowners/homeowners and then send in our tree surgeons to carry out the work. I do have an option to train as a tree surgeon but I'm happy with surveying for now.
