Yeah, Lichfield is a bit of a talentless town really!

Definitely need to paint more man!

Eugh, yeah. Definitely glad I found out now. If I'd done anything like ignore her, not take her places, not do things for her, then I could understand, but she had everything off me in terms of time, attention, support. Eugh.

    Such is life I guess.

Whilst not exactly ruining my life (as that would be incredibly dramatic) it is pissing me the f*ck off.

Three weeks ago I ordered myself an Intel 330 60gb ssd after my Corsair failed. I received an email about 40 seconds after I ordered it (at 3am, which I thought was terribly fishy) telling me it had been dispatched.

I'm a pretty impatient person but I don't mind waiting a week or so for an item. Any way, four days went by and I decided to email them and ask if it had been sent. They reply saying yes, it's been sent RMSD and will be with me tomorrow. I ran the tracking ID and it didn't work, instead it said that the item had not been received at their mail centre and to try later.

I waited another week (so nearly two now) before sending another email as the tracking still did not work.

I was told that it had been sent (liars, as I found out later) and that it had probably been lost so they would send me another. Sadly by the time they replied I had already gone on holiday to West Sussex so wasn't here to receive the drive. I told them to send it any way but they kept making excuses saying that it would probably be returned to them. I was only away for five days and would have preferred to collect it from the depot upon my return but instead I agreed (stupidly) to allow them to send it the day I got back and provide me with a tracking number for next day delivery.

Quelle surprise ! I received no tracking number and no drive. That was over a week ago. Four days ago I phoned Play (of which this loser is a market place member) and asked them what I could do as it had been over three weeks. They tell me to send an email demanding a refund and if I don't hear back by Thursday to call them again and claim on their assurance thing.

This morning when I got up I received this email from this tosser.

Hi, your order were sent and we sent you the tracking number which you only get once its been sent,

If we reconsider removing your feedback the offer of a 16GB Kingston memory stick still stands for doing this and as an apology for any delay from us

    Thanks

But alas, they're still full of chit because I have not received a tracking number. Not by email and not on Play's site.

I've never, ever encountered such a lying piece of chit in all of my years of buying things online. I'll certainly be calling Play tomorrow to lodge a further complaint and chase after my money.

So as I said, certainly not ruining my life but a serious PITA I could do without. I don't even want the ferking SSD now after all the aggro it's caused.

Welcome to every third or fourth order I place online, enjoy your stay. I deal with this sort of mess on a weekly basis, and have done for the past 4 years. Just a fortnight ago, the last day of work before my holidays began, I had to drive a 120 mile round trip to collect a package containing urgent parts from a courier depot because the seller hadn't processed and sent it on time. The delivery was estimated at between 15:00-17:00. I was finishing at 17:30, so to make time for me to complete the repairs that day, I requested that the parcel be left at the depot for me to collect instead. I was there shortly after 8am and had the repairs done just after lunchtime, but it cost me a 120 mile round trip just to keep a couple of customers happy and get their computers back to them before I left for two weeks, all because a supplier couldn't process and ship the order in less than 3 days.

That is why I try to stick to places I know/I have heard good things about.

I'll almost never just go for somewhere because it's cheap unless I know people who've used them before without issue.

Ebay is easy I just go through Paypal and always get my money back.

Just got off the phone with Play and they have sent him a really crappy email. I asked what to do if the SSD arrived and they said "Send it back". Erm.. After the email I sent him telling him I didn't want it the drive is now unsolicited goods so I hope for his sake he hasn't sent it as I will just refuse to return it and make him collect it.

    Two reasons.

    1. I thought Play were large and reputable.

    2. The drive is like rocking horse shite so not exactly easy to find elsewhere.

But it wasn't Play, it was a seller via them no?

    Get a different drive? :p

I'd not used Play before so wasn't aware that it was a market place tbh.

I don't really want a drive now. I put in a 80gb SATA drive (old thing) and installed 8 on it and whilst it's slower to start (about 3 mins before the PC is completely ready with no HDD activity) I only use it as a gaming rig and games are all pretty much the same any way.

I decided a few days ago I wanted the money back... He's obviously drop shipping so is now trying to ignore my requests and force the drive on me.

I'll definitely get my money back (Play have assured me it'll be with me in 4 days time come hell or high water) and if the drive arrives I can ferk him around for a bit and see how he likes it.

With unsolicited goods (which the drive is now given I said I didn't want it and wanted my money back) you don't have to send them back. All you need to do is offer the person a chance to have it collected from you at their expense.

Which of course I will accidentally on purpose go out for a few hours and miss the collection, leaving him to rearrange it.

    Repeat ad nauseum.

You might have had to do so, but I'm sure this level of customer service keeps your client base very well. You're the kind of person I would continue to do business with if I got treated like that.

Get back from work to find the tests from the vet show the family dog as having diabetes which requires Insulin injections twice a day for the rest of its life, at 60 pounds a month.

Dog is only 8 so has another 4 years yet but cant leave her as she is, just going to be interesting injecting her twice a day, but golden labs like other breeds are vunerable to getting the disease.

Random parking ticket in a unmarked area causing no more disruption than the other cars parked around it that went unticketed.

    Traffic police you suck.

Ex lady moved her animals out today. Pretty devastated, hitting the bottle pretty hard.

We're going to talk on Friday, to at least straighten it out for ourselves, but work is going to suffer, and so is my sleep.

Not sure I've ever felt this hurt.

you will look back in a month and think.... meh...

you'll be back to normal soon. Don't let your work suffer, use it to make you better.

Work's just going to suffer like everything else. I had to disappear twice today to break down.

Let alone the time I was driving barely able to see..
