I have nerve damage in my left hand due to RSI. I've had it for years and learned to live with it, but this weekend I got a bad friction burn/blister from a cable on my index finger. So yeah, trying to type normally but only using thumb and middle finger on my left hand is ruining my life right now.

Thankfully it's not so bad for gaming, but general typing is a real pain. You'll see an uncharacteristic presence of upper case letter and a lack of typos in this post because I'm having to double check everything I type :/

    Ebuyer.

Havent used them in a few years and made the mistake of ordering with them for a few bits the other week.

I did NOT know they stooped so low as to used ****ing yodel.

Bought a cheap case to hide a system away in and the front panel is smashed in.

Ebuyer are now making me call them, photo the evidence. Now they want me to fill out a claims form, sign it, scan it and then email that to them.

All for a £17 quid case.

Officially on a par with Aria now at the top of my "I would rather have AIDS than order with list"

i had pretty much that experience with ebuyer back in '02. cheap case turned up and it had clearly been sat on (front popped off, depression in the top, and the whole thing was leaning in one direction, all the right angles in one direction had been skewed off.

i sent it back along with a PSU which never worked out of the box from the same order. It took them 2 days to test the PSU, but it took them nearly a fortnight to 'test' that the case was faulty.

after that i only ever ordered small cheap things (kettle leads, sata cables etc) from them. scan get most of my business now, followed by amazon and overclockers.

I know exactly how that is, I'm suffering from it today as well. I also got a flat tyre - yes, another one D: - and someone spilled a cup of hot soup on me at lunchtime. It's been a rough day

My Sky router (The crappy Sky HUB) wouldn't connect last night. It could've been sky's service or the router but I woke up in the morning and it miraculously connected. I can't use a third party router because it's against sky's T&Cs.

On the plus side, fibre is available in my area.

How will they know if you do use a third party device?

Great thing here. I just got a call from them because I asked about it last night when it wouldn't work. I asked the advisor whether I was allowed to use a third party device and whether or not I would be cut off for finding out etc.

Turns out they don't care. They don't support you for using a third party device and won't provide any troubleshooting or any username and password for a different device to be used. However, if you find out that information by hacking the router or whatever then they have no qualms with it.

I use a firmware hacked HomeHub 3 at the moment since my Post Office router just won't hold a connection. It's a pretty plain bit of kit but it holds a connection and transmits decent wifi, which is all I really care about.

I like how people whom are meant to be close to you leave out details to make it sound worst.

Some guy started calling my daughter (7 months old) a rather not so nice today so I called him out on it.

Next thing you know 'I've basically walked in and started for no reason at all coming from a family member that witnessed the whole thing that couldn't of been more clearer.

Oh well knobs will be knobs.

Mine went down the other day for no apparent reason, I changed the filter, all the cables etc. it wasn't the line as I was talking to my mum on the landline at the time.

Was pretty annoying I was in the middle of FTPing something to a particularly slow web host : (

45 minutes later it sprang back into life!

I have Sky and it keeps going down.

BT engineer said line was fine.

Hub is **** tbh, looks great but its wireless signal is aids and it seems unstable. Surely using my own router would save Sky sending BT engineers everywhere!
