    the BBC...

specifically the 'new and improved' iPlayer desktop app... they've ruined it...

option to move where it saves the stuff... gone
option to limit how much hdd space it could use... gone
option to limit speed or only download stuff at certain times... gone
    series download option... gone
ability to download programs without the app... gone

After a brief and non-scientific damage analysis: something blew up inside. Outer shell is bulging, crack running whole length of UPS at bottom and something plastic looking is swelling out from another crack inside the battery compartment.

Now that I call a house fire avoided.

Last thursday during Physical Education, I felt something in my ankle, saw I had a small cut, bleeding a little bit.
Don't know what happened, but it started with a small mark, like when stung by a mosquito, but now my ankle is swollen up a bit and it hurts and itches a lot :/
Might see if it gets better, otherwise I'm seeing a doctor on monday I think.

Gotta try this if it still keeps crashing, few totally random crashes for no reason happened after latest hot-fix... Thanks for the tip anyway!

This gem. I cannot decide whether it's made my day or ruining my life, but considering the w**ker hasn't taken down the images, I'm going with the latter.

    LOL.

A photograph is your creation, and you hold the copyright on the photo- the object it is a photograph of is irrelevant. Finding the exact section of the copyright act to quote at that moron is the next challenge/step...

The part in quotation marks is from the Facebook page on IP rights. So the dunce read it and decided he wouldn't wrap his brain around it anyway.

FB has just axed a page for repeated copyright violations, and I'm hoping they do the same here.

The second worst part of it is the grammar, which made it seem like a brain-damaged chimp typed it up.

Secondly, a photograph IS art, no one else can take the exact same image in the exact same way, therefore it is your creation and yours to do with as you please. Some images are just taken as impulse, no prior consideration, with no time put into them. These might not be considered art depending upon viewpoint. But others are masterpieces the likes of which cannot be matched. Many of them have many hours of preconsideration, and painstaking trial+error put into them. These are, by any definition, artwork, and should be treated as such. Even if the final result was slightly, or even completely Photoshopped it is still art.
